If there is no "ra" letter, if asked whether it should not be written for that reason, if that is the case, then the vajra fence symbolizing the environment should also not be written. Furthermore, if asked whether that is also constructed when constructing the palace, it is not. Because the Bhagavan has never said anywhere that the vajra fence should be constructed twice, what is the use of constructing it twice? The vajra ground and boundary, as well as the vajra fence and everything else, are all instantly perfected because they are contemplated as the nature of emptiness, abiding in the essence of illusion. Thus, although there is a protective wheel, the reason for not writing it in the mandala is precisely what is being stated. Some also think that the protective wheel should be written, and this is the Manjushri Vajra Mandala. In the mandala spoken of in the Compendium of Principles, the ultimate palace is the same as before, and the differences of the wrathful deities will be explained later. In the center of the palace is Achala, the black wrathful one, with white and red faces on the right and the other side, respectively. The right hands hold wrathful vajras, wheels, and lotuses, and the left hands hold bells, wish-fulfilling jewels, and swords, and are embraced by a touch-vajra mother. In the eastern and other directions are Vairochana and others, and in the fire and other corners are Buddhalochana and others. Among them, Vairochana is white and peaceful, with white, black, and red faces, holding a wheel, a vajra, a white lotus, a bell, a jewel, and a sword. The hand symbols that have been spoken of and will be spoken of should be understood in order, first from top to bottom in the right hand and from bottom to top in the left hand. The three colors of the faces should also be understood in the order of root, right, and left. Ratnasambhava is yellow, with yellow, black, and red faces, holding a jewel, a vajra, a wheel, a bell, a yellow lotus, and a sword. Amitabha has red, black, and white faces, with the left hand holding the stem of a red lotus with a bell at the heart, and the right hand opening, while the others hold a vajra, a wheel, a jewel, and a sword. is green, with green, black, and white faces, holding a sword, various vajras, a wheel, a bell, a green lotus, and a jewel. These five Tathagatas and the Samantabhadra to be described next all have tufts of hair and jeweled crowns, and are adorned with various jeweled ornaments. Locanā is similar to Vairocana, but in place of the white lotus is a white utpala. Māmakī is similar to Akshobhya, but in place of the lotus is a blue-red utpala. Pāṇḍaravāsinī is similar to Amitābha. Tārā is similar to Amoghasiddhi, holding various vajras, a wheel, a blue-yellow utpala, a bell, a jewel, and a sword. In the second tier, at the fire corner, Rūpavajrī is like Locanā, but the first hands hold a red mirror. In the realm of truthlessness, Śabdavajrī is yellow, with yellow, black, and white faces, the two root hands raising a blue vīṇā, and the remaining hands holding a vajra, a blue utpala, a jewel, and a sword. In the wind direction, Gandhavajrī is like Pāṇḍaravāsinī, the root hands holding a yellow conch shell for fragrance. In the powerful place, Rasavajrī is green, with green, black, and white faces, the first hands holding a red container of taste, and the remaining hands holding a vajra, a wheel, a jewel, and a sword. In the third tier, at the eastern doorpost are Maitreya and Kshitigarbha. In the south are Vajrapāṇi and Ākāśagarbha. In the west are Avalokiteśvara and Mañjuśrī. In the north are Sarvanivāraṇaviskambhin and Samantabhadra. These eight are similar to the lords of the root families, but Maitreya's root hands hold a nāga tree flower with branches. At the doors starting from the east, and at the corners starting from the fire direction, and also above and below, there are ten wrathful deities in order. Among them, Yamāntaka is black, with black, white, and red faces, holding a vajra hammer, a wheel, a vajra, and at the heart a threatening finger with a noose, as well as a bell and a battle-axe.
