is the meaning of the indication. At all times, the teacher and the Dharma friends should go around to the right, while the mandala of glorious Chakrasamvara and the mandala of glorious Vajravarahi should go around to the left, and one should especially believe that all directions are equal. This is the ritual of drawing lines in the sky. Therefore, first, when starting to build the mandala house, these two Brahma lines should be firmly drawn on a completely pure ground with this ritual, and then a mark should be made on the outside with a moon cushion. Following the mark, two Brahma lines should be drawn for the mandala. The order for this is as follows: First, erect equal pegs, and make a circle one span high. Then, according to the order of the sun, the shadow moves back and forth. Give two dots there, and measure the same in other places as well. Holding the dots, draw a line, and make a mark at the crow's footprint. First, the west and the east, then the south and the north. Like dots in the sky, two Brahma lines should be drawn there. Firmly draw them with equal, lowered hands. Again, holding the Brahma line, make a mark at the crow's footprint. There are two corner lines there, and the root lines should also be drawn in order. With the left leg in a half-lotus position and the right leg gathered, and sitting in the opposite position, the intelligent disciple, along with the Vajradhara who draws the mandala lines, should have faith in drawing lines in the sky. Likewise, other line drawings should also be done in this way. Without a mark, it will not be accomplished. If the line breaks, the teacher will die. From deficiency or excess comes disease. If the direction is confused, the disciple will be confused. Knowing these things, one should strive. If, when drawing lines, there is no opportunity in some place, no friends, or one is unhappy, then tie it to a peg and draw the line yourself. There, the teacher and disciple, abiding in great equanimity, together, with this order, the intelligent one should draw the white line. Water, the teacher who dwells as the lord, and the disciple who is clearly inclined, because they dwell in the direction of Indra, should draw the Brahma line here. Dwelling in the direction of Yama and in a bad body, together with the secret mantra vidya and

The disciple should draw the correct second Brahma line. The teacher who abides in the fire position, and the one who abides in the wind position and possesses the union of the supreme deity, should draw the corner line. The guru from the powerful direction, and the disciple who has departed from truth, should also draw the second corner line correctly. The disciple who abides in the fire position, and the disciple who definitely manifests, who abides in the position accompanied by power, should draw the two root lines. The Vajradhara in that very place, the son who abides in the state of being apart from truth, the wise one, knowing all the lines, should draw the southern line. The disciple who abides in that very place, and the mantra practitioners who abide in the wind position, the one who abides in the wind position apart from truth, should draw the third line. The Vajradhara who abides in that very place, the son who abides in the peaceful direction, having gone through knowing all the actions, should draw the fourth root line. The Bhagavan spoke truthfully from the Vajra Tent of the Dakini, as it is: First is the Brahma line, second is the corner line. Third, on the four faces, the four lines should be excellently drawn. Thus it is said. Here, one-eighth of the root line is the door. The division of the door is the small division, that is, the first small division and Krisha (Sanskrit Devanagari: कृश, Sanskrit Romanization: kṛśa, Chinese literal meaning: thin) and part, are different names. The nature of two small divisions is a division, four small divisions are a large division. Peacefulness means to observe half of the small division, this is the ritual of drawing lines with white. Now I will speak of the mandala lines common to all mandalas: one part and seven small parts, at the end of the third is the fourth, small part small part part, each small part is drawn evenly. Up to the tip of the Ra (seed syllable, Tibetan: ར་, Sanskrit Devanagari: र, Sanskrit Romanization: ra, Chinese literal meaning: fire), then the golden round line. Two small parts of the lotus garland, two small parts of the vajra garland, four small parts of the light ray garland, all are made round. Thus the interval between the stretched lines, correctly applies to all mandalas. Slightly distinguishing the deities, within the root mandala, the distinction of lines and the outer perimeter, the wise should touch without distinction. I will, in order, explain the distinctions of doors and so on. Seven above on two faces, two above on two faces. Three and three above in emptiness, four are
