Having spoken thus, one prays to the lama, visualizing the form of Vajrasattva arising from the vajra and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ), is the being without beginning or end, Vajrasattva is greatly delighted, Samantabhadra is the lord of all beings, I am the lord of Vajra Pride Mother, thus reciting the Bhagavan, the supreme first born, and causing him to hold that nature, is the vajra's vow. I am a being. Then, contemplate the bell arising from Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:Āḥ), this is all the Buddhas, said to follow the wisdom's sound, the Victorious Ones rejoice in the supreme Bodhi, you should also always hold. Having spoken thus, cause him to hold that nature. Self-nature merges, understood through sound, like the wisdom of the Buddha, so is the bell. The disciple should also say: Existence is inherently pure, separated from self-nature and existence, self-nature is pure, supreme sentient being, will become the holy existence. Having spoken thus, shake the bell. It is the self-nature of false imputation and a small part of existence. This is the bell's vow. Then, to that, the mind's body is steadfast, the vow of the mudra is well spoken, one's own body is all steadfast, therefore the mudra is well proclaimed. Thus, having blessed with the wisdom mudra, by enjoying all desires, accomplish all siddhis. Cause him to understand this meaning. Cause the body of Vajrasattva and the wisdom mudra to be blessed in the order of union, and cause him to make the gesture of embracing. Also, in the supreme first tantra it is said: That nature itself holds the vajra, having shaken the Dharma's bell, the vast vow mudra, having blessed, recite the heart mantra. Thus it is said. It is the vow of the mudra. This is the ritual of bestowing the three vows. Afterwards, taking the three vows, as before in the bathing mandala, or elsewhere, abide and contemplate thus, contemplate as the form of Vajrasattva. Starting from the seed syllable in the heart, until pouring with the vajra's tip, is the ritual of declaring the water empowerment. The vajra of the great empowerment, revered by the three realms, the secret of all Buddhas.

Of the three. Giving arises from the place. oṃ āḥ sarva tathāgata abhiṣekāta samaya śrīye hūṃ svāhā. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥེ་ཀ་ཏ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཤྲི་ཡེ་ཧཱུཾ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ आः सर्व तथागत अभिषेकात समय श्रीये हूँ स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ āḥ sarva tathāgata abhiṣekāta samaya śrīye hūṃ svāhā, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Ah, All Tathagatas, Abhisheka, Samaya, Shriye, Hum, Svaha.) Saying this, the empowerment is conferred. Then, visualizing Akshobhya as the crown, the other Tathagatas and goddesses are placed within it, becoming the essence of the wisdom being. oṃ supratiṣṭha vajra svāhā. Bless it with this mantra and offer flowers and so on to it. Likewise: For one who has attained sixteen wisdoms, With hands, embrace well. Vajra and bell joined together, Is desired as the guru's empowerment. Thus it is said. Then, in short, this palace is the nature of Vairochana, and so on, the suchness of the mandala is completely pure. The five aggregates, in short, Are proclaimed as the five Buddhas. And so on, the suchness of the deities is completely pure. In the ultimate truth, the mandala and so on are, for both stages, of the nature of emptiness, suchness itself, the suchness is completely pure. Drawing the mandala and so on, the sequence of the guru's activities, along with the retinue, should be described. Thus, knowing the suchness of the mandala and so on, and the vow of the nature that is not to be transgressed, and the precepts that are of the nature of what should and should not be done, it is said that one is qualified to accomplish it as it is. The suchness of the mandala and so on, extensively, I have shown in the ear-whispered instruction. This is the irreversible empowerment, another name is the ritual of the guru's empowerment. Then, reciting one's own heart mantra and so on one hundred and eight times or three times: Bhagavan, I have given, I beseech you to draw near to this. Saying this, it is given to the disciple. The disciple also says: Bhagavan, I have taken, I beseech you to draw near to me. Thus, holding with "I", recite three times. The ritual of entrusting the mantra. This itself is from other tantras such as the Buddha Skull, and the feet of the Bell-bearer have said it is the empowerment of mantra. Then, with butter and honey placed in a gold or silver vessel, and with a gold eye-ointment spoon, visualize the letter "praṃ" in the disciple's eyes.
