Thus it is beautiful. In the mandala of Hevajra, the wheel of the mind is black, and the spaces between its spokes are red, because it is the center of the wheel of speech. The wheel of speech is red. The spaces between its spokes are white, because it is the center of the wheel of body. The wheel of body is white. The spaces between its spokes, in the directions such as east, are the colors of the Tathagatas such as Vairochana. The three circumferences are surrounded, in order, by chains of black vajras, red lotuses, and white wheels. From the outer side to the inner side, there are five lines of green, white, red, yellow, and black colors. The colors of the east, north, west, south, and center, and the roofs are white, green, red, yellow, and black respectively. Others say that the five lines, the ground, and the roofs are a blue color mixed with black, green, red, yellow, and white. Similarly, one should fully consider the order of colors before and after, and then scatter the colored powders. If unqualified people gather, then draw appropriate symbols and mudras. If there are no unqualified people, then draw the image of the deity, or place a painted image, a cast image, a relief image, or a well-made image. Thus, the feet of Nagarjuna's mind say: In the mandala, according to one's ability, one should place the seed syllables, or the symbols or the image of the deity, the cast image or the made image should be placed. The method of drawing mudras is stated in the Uttaratantra of the Abhisamayalankara: If one cannot, then draw, the mudra or symbol should be placed. It is also said: With colors or brushes, the things that are drawn should be mixed. In the Shri Hevajra Tantra, it is also said: Thus, it is in accordance with the image such as the cast image and the made image, and the mudra of the symbol. Therefore, in the mandala of Manjushri Vajra, in the center is the moon and the blue sword of Bhagavan Manjushri Vajra. In the east is the eight-spoked white wheel of Vairochana Buddha on the moon. In the south

On the eastern sun is the nine-petaled green jewel of Ratnasambhava. On the western sun is the eight-petaled red lotus of Amitabha. On the northern sun is the green sword of Amoghasiddhi. On the lunar disc in the fire direction are the two white eyeballs with black pupils of the Vidyadhari, dwelling in the clouds. On the lunar disc in the direction devoid of truth is the five-pronged black vajra of Mamaki, as it is said in the tantras. On the lunar disc in the wind direction is the blooming red lotus of Pandaravasini, with stem and root. On the lunar disc in the powerful direction is the blue-yellow Utpala flower of Tara. The four intermediate directions, starting with fire, and the left and right sides of the eastern gate, leaving out two small parts on the edges, the moons, in order, are the white mirror of the Vajra Mothers of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and the Dharma realm, the blue lute of the Gandharvas, the fragrant yellow conch shell, the red vessel of taste, various silks, and the white Dharma origin. On the suns at the gates, starting with the east, in the order of Yamantaka, Prajnantaka, Padmantaka, and Vighnantaka, are the black vajra stake, the white staff marked with a vajra, the red lotus, and the split-mouthed blue vajra. Here, the nineteen moons and suns reside on various lotuses. All the signs are with rays of light, with their heads facing their respective directions. The Wheel Lord has his head facing west. It is the same in the following ones as well. Vajrasattva, the Wheel Lord himself, in the center is a lotus and a moon, and a peaceful blue vajra. Some say it is a multi-colored vajra. The wise say that the round dot of light in the center should not be lined with paint. On the outside of the round dot, on each corner of the Brahma line, leaving out four small parts, are four small vases, that is, eight new vases filled with nectar, this is one direction. Others say that the nature of the jewel is the color of the Tathagata of its own direction. Here and in the following, when placing the signs of other Tathagatas in the center, the sign of the center should be drawn in its center. Abridged order.
