The first month of autumn and the following three months, in order, with the head pointing towards the east, south, west, and north, and the face towards the south and other directions. It is said that the earth deity dragon sleeps in that place. After examining it, hold the thread with a vajra fist, and walk clockwise with the companions of practice, staying in the position of fire and wind. Draw lines in the east, west, north, and south directions. Starting from sunrise, from the position of the dragon, dig the foundation clockwise at a distance of one cubit. Some say, "In the visible direct front." Because if you dig at the head, the father and son will decline. If you dig at the back, you will decline or move to another place. If you dig at the tail, cattle and buffalo will decline. If there are stones in that place, wind will arise. If there are bones, there will be stinging pain. If there are tiles, you will become mute. If there are chaff and charcoal, there will be epidemics. If there are hair, grass, and trees, there will be minor harm. Therefore, remove stumps, grass, ant nests, bones, and charcoal. Appease the earth, fire, and Tathagatas, as well as the owner of the place, the guardians of the directions, the guardians of the world, and the guardians of the fields, with a peaceful fire offering, so that the owner of the land and the patrons may have peace. Offer torma from the outside as well. It is the same in the subsequent rituals. According to your ability, hold a celebration and a feast for the Sangha. Offer wealth to the Lama. Also, please the craftsmen and laborers. This is the ritual of offering to temples, stupas, clean rooms, mansions, and monasteries. When building ponds, small ponds, and wells, torma and offerings should be done first. Immediately after that, make offerings and recite "Om Vam Vajra Varuna Hum (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)", visualize the form of Vajra Water God, the Illuminator, and from that complete transformation, fill it with the nectar water of the eight dragon clans. Recite "Om Vajrasattva Samaya Tvam (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)", and visualize it filled with nectar water with eight branches, reaching to the bottom of the great power. This is the ritual of offering to ponds and the like. When making statues and pustis, then

With tormas and offerings as the preliminary, visualize the craftsmen as the embodiment of the lord of the deities who will create, and the scribes as the essence of Amitabha. Establish their respective seed syllables in their hearts, and in their hearts, throats, and heads, visualize in sequence the syllables Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ), Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Āḥ), and Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ) residing on vajras, lotuses, and wheels respectively. In the left and other hands, visualize holding the moon and the vajra speech, and instantly generate this visualization. Touching the heart and so on, bless them by reciting Hūṃ Āḥ Oṃ. For pure materials such as wood, clay, stone, and cloth, especially with joy, visualize the seed syllable in the heart instantly becoming the form of the deity who will create. Recite "Bhagavan" and so on, up to "the lineage that dwells nearby." The paper is to be visualized as the form of the vajra speech letters invited by the light visualized from the letter Dhīḥ (Tibetan: དྷཱིཿ). Yourself also recite "Oṃ Vajra Sattva Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: ॐ वज्र सत्त्व हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ vajra sattva hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ Vajra Sattva Hūṃ)" and "Oṃ Āḥ Vighnānta Kṛta Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿ་བིགྷྣཱནྟ་ཀྲྀ་ཏ་ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: ॐ आः विघ्नान्त कृ त हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ āḥ vighnānta kṛta hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ Āḥ Vighnānta Kṛta Hūṃ)" twenty-one times, praising mountains and so on. Visualize the pen as the nature of wisdom and prajñā, and the ink also as arising from the dust of vajras, becoming the form of wisdom nectar. Again, recite "Oṃ Dhīḥ Śuti Smṛti Bicaya Sarva Ajñāna Pāḍala Apahariṇaṃ Hrīḥ Svāhā (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་དྷཱིཿ་ཤུ་ཏི་སྨྲཾ་ཏི་བི་ཙ་ཡ་སརྦ་ཨ་ཛྙཱ་ན་པ་ཌ་ལ་ཨ་པ་ཧ་རི་ཎཾ་ཧྲཱིཿ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ, Devanagari: ॐ धीः शुति स्मृति बिचय सर्व अज्ञान पाडल अपहरिणं ह्रीः स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ dhīḥ śuti smṛti bicaya sarva ajñāna pāḍala apahariṇaṃ hrīḥ svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ Dhīḥ Śuti Smṛti Bicaya Sarva Ajñāna Pāḍala Apahariṇaṃ Hrīḥ Svāhā)", praising the pen and ink, and entrust them to their tasks. Stabilize it with the hundred-syllable mantra. Please the craftsmen and prepare feasts for the Sangha and so on. In all cases, invite the deity being meditated upon here to descend. For damaged and cracked temples and so on, if you wish to repair them as a mandala of deities, first make tormas and offerings and so on, and at the time of consecration, invite the deities who were previously residing to return to their places, and then proceed with the repairs and so on in the same way. The above is the ritual for offering and ablution for Buddha images and so on. In the rituals being explained here, according to what is appropriate, use gold, silver, stone, copper, and wood, earthen, fish glue, conch shells, petal trays, foot washing water, incense, tormas, face washing water, offering water vessels, and in other vessels, barley, milk, white flowers, kusha grass, sesame seeds, rice grains, and white fragrances.
