After arising, invite them. Generally prostrate and make offerings to the assembly of noble ones, then urge and pray. Then, in the palace adorned with offerings, visualize the assembly of noble ones residing. Offer whatever offerings are available, such as offering articles, and make music. Then, perform prostrations, doing seven standing prostrations each time: I prostrate to and take refuge in the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Tathagata Well-Named Renowned Glorious King, together with the retinue of attendant Bodhisattvas, a hundred billion trillion. I prostrate to and take refuge in the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Tathagata Jewel, Moon, and Lotus Adorned Wisdom Majestic Sound King, together with an immeasurable retinue of Bodhisattvas. I prostrate to and take refuge in the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Tathagata Pure Gold Stainless Jewel Light Asceticism Accomplished, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of billions of Bodhisattvas. I prostrate to and take refuge in the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Tathagata Dharma Proclamation Ocean Sound, surrounded by an immeasurable assembly of Bodhisattvas. I prostrate to and take refuge in the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Tathagata Dharma Ocean Supreme Wisdom Play Abhijna, surrounded by an immeasurable assembly of Bodhisattvas. The Bhagavan Tathagata, The skillful means of the seven Buddhas, the Arhats, the Samyak-sambuddhas, and how the great and extensive distinctions of previous aspirations were established and blessed. And how our teacher, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha, declared and blessed that very meaning. And the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, such as the noble Manjushri, Vajrapani, and Kyabdro, in order to truly accomplish the teachings of those Bhagavans, and to fully fulfill their vast intentions, to perform the activities of accomplishing the meaning of the Sutras, how they received the command of the noble ones and promised, and how they were blessed. And Brahma, Indra, the four Great Kings, the twelve great Yaksha generals, and so on, all the great lay devotees of the gods, in the presence of the assembled gathering, promised to protect and save the Sutras and the sentient beings who hold the Sutras, and so on. How the noble ones of the past blessed and declared, as it appears in the Sutras. The Bhagavan Tathagata and his retinue, in order to gather them, arranged the auspicious mandala, and offered whatever power they had. In the presence of the assembled gathering, they offered by reciting their names. They urged and prayed, and received their blessings. If it exists, as the assembled ones of the past blessed and declared, may they completely accomplish the rituals of the Sutras, and may we immediately receive all the benefits and blessings as they are said to arise. After that, offering to the noble ones one by one and making prayers, I prostrate and take refuge in the Bhagavan Tathagata, the Arhat, the Samyak-sambuddha, Whose name is perfectly proclaimed, the glorious king, reciting it seven times, offering whatever offerings are available, and making the following prayer: Today, in the presence of the assembled gathering of the Buddhas and their retinues, having heard the name of the Tathagata whose name is perfectly proclaimed, the glorious king, remembering it in my mind and
