It is because it is too excessive. Possessing excellent qualities, with the characteristics of the extremely surpassing, and with the merits associated with obtaining the dharani. Or because of obtaining the dharani that accomplishes limitless doors, possessing the characteristics of all perfections. Therefore, those sons of the Sugatas, among the retinue of those ninety kotis of Buddhas, whoever has obtained dharani, is the best of those who have obtained dharani. Is the best of those Bodhisattvas. Because it is associated with the excellence of wisdom, and because it possesses excellent qualities. Therefore, in their retinue, the Bodhisattva, that is of those who possess word dharani, among the Bodhisattvas, is the best shown by the Buddhas. The special excellence of wisdom is that earth, dharani, wisdom, etc., possess excellence. Merit is clairvoyance, etc., by which one understands the nature, thoughts, habits, etc. of sentient beings, and accomplishes desires with miraculous powers, etc. Uninterrupted eloquence, for whom? For those who have obtained individual correct knowledge. There are four, namely Dharma, meaning, verbal meaning, and individual correct knowledge of eloquence. Individual correct knowledge, because they possess excellence. Therefore, in the retinue of those Buddhas, the Bodhisattva has uninterrupted eloquence, among them that prince is the best. Saying Bodhisattva is to distinguish it from the Buddha Bhagavan. The discipline they speak of is considered to be the accomplishment of pleasing things. The discipline spoken by those Buddhas is the characteristic of vows, accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, and accumulating virtuous dharmas. Possessing qualities such as being indestructible, whatever is accomplished is considered pleasing. In three kalpas, the accumulations, having been completely perfected, attain enlightenment. The complete perfection of accumulations is indicated by "having been pleased," if one accomplishes the complete perfection of accumulations, then they have been very satisfied. How does one perfect the accumulations with three kalpas?

Now, there is no fault. Because he had previously accumulated merit in countless eons, and the ninety billion Buddhas had not committed any misdeeds in three eons, he had perfected the accumulation of merit and thus attained enlightenment. Moreover, in order to ascertain that he was the Tathagata Dipamkara, it was said, "The son of a merchant," and so on. The prince, the glory of immeasurable qualities and jewels, was also implicitly shown to have become the Tathagata Amitayus, and therefore this was said later. One should not desire empty things, because this also contradicts valid cognition. One should not generate discordant thoughts, and one should not doubt in any way. One should not have doubts like thinking that the merchant's son, Moon Crest, is different from Dipamkara. Because that is an empty thing, just as Dipamkara himself is the merchant's son, Moon Crest. Because you do not accept it, Moon Crest will not become not Dipamkara, because that would be too extreme. One should not generate discordant thoughts and doubts like thinking that Moon Crest is merely a thing and not Dipamkara, because this contradicts valid cognition, just as all the Tathagatas directly see that Dipamkara is Moon Crest. Is this Moon Crest the Tathagata Dipamkara? Or is it not? One should not have such doubts, just as all the Buddhas and I know that Dipamkara is Moon Crest. Knowledge from hearing, etc., or the three valid cognitions, because they cannot be completely determined, the three words such as hesitation are spoken. Or, even if hesitation and doubt have the same meaning, because the knowledge of hearing cannot be completely determined, it is hesitation. Thinking is doubt, meditation is uncertainty, therefore three names are spoken. Or, what cannot be completely determined by direct perception is hesitation. What is inferred is doubt, what is from scripture is uncertainty, therefore three words are spoken. "Shariputra, you," and so on.
