The term "prayer" means: in front of the Bhagavan (bcom ldan 'das), to state and report with words. The so-called "Bhagavan is in the great charnel ground Cool Grove (bsil ba'i tshal) of Rajagriha (རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་)" means: between Vulture Peak (བྱ་རྒོད་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོའི་རི་) and Rajagriha, and the Cool Grove, there is one yojana (dpag tshad); the south side of Vulture Peak is the place where all corpses are transported, it is the Cool Grove where the three kinds of discrimination are destroyed. What is the etymology of the three discriminations and the Cool Grove? The Cool Grove also produces the discrimination of fearful sounds, practicing the equality of all beings, and being free from fear by the power of compassion. By abandoning this discrimination, the nature of fear will not arise. The discrimination of shame is that pretas and corpses also exist nakedly, similarly, the sentient beings of the world are also impermanent, dwelling in its essence, the world is like an illusion, and by its nature it is free from the discrimination of shame. The discrimination of disgust also arises in the Cool Grove, because the shapes of the corpses are different, and it is a land full of flesh and blood and brains. Similarly, pus and phlegm, intestines and urine, etc. also arise from one's own body, similarly, it is impermanent and without discrimination. The Cool Grove is free from the three discriminations, and from there arises true wisdom, it is the basis of all achievements, it is the path to attain Bodhi, it is the manifestation of all illusions, it is the manifestation of the nature of impermanence, it makes all sentient beings free from the discrimination of the nature of the three poisons, therefore it is the Cool Grove. Similarly, because it makes body, speech and mind peaceful, therefore it is the Cool Grove. Or, the Cool Grove is because it is free from all discriminations. The so-called "if there is no direction like a large woodpile" means: with the nature of the five poisons, arrogance and hatred arise, similarly, ignorance is also very serious, not reporting to the Bhagavan, thinking that one will attain the Arhat fruit, therefore one goes to the Cool Grove. The so-called "there" means in the center of the charnel ground Cool Grove, I will experience all the suffering.
