That which is called "the one" refers to the perfectly complete Buddhas, such as Shakyamuni. That is, the Dharmakaya, the Sambhogakaya, and the Nirmanakaya. Here, too, the nature of the Nirmanakaya is described as great compassion, for the benefit of sentient beings. One face, two arms, body color like the gold of Jambudvipa, making the earth-touching mudra, seated on a vajra lion lotus throne, abiding in the attire of a renunciant, at once pervading the benefit of sentient beings with compassion. I pray that you protect me and all sentient beings. The meaning of "protect, protect" is that whoever is a vidyadhara is protected by the retinue of both the mundane and the supramundane, separated from all suffering, and attains the unsurpassed, true bliss. All sentient beings are the same. I pray that you completely save, completely embrace, completely nurture, pacify, bring happiness and auspiciousness, cut off punishment, cut off weapons, kill poison, destroy poison, set boundaries, and bind the earth. The meaning of "I pray that you..." is that by generating respect for the Queen of Vidyas, the Cool Grove, and engaging in practices such as upholding, reciting, and meditating, one will achieve accomplishment. Then one should uphold the vidya-mantra. What is a vidya-mantra? It is that which possesses the five wisdoms, the symbol of which is the wisdom of diligent action, and what is symbolized is the very nature of the Queen of Vidyas. It is the purity of the indivisibility of skillful means and wisdom. The basis shown is that which possesses the five wisdoms of liberation, the symbol of which is the wisdom of diligent action, and what is symbolized is the very nature of the mantra. That is, the form of the indivisibility of skillful means and wisdom, the four faces shown are the pure forms of the four gates of liberation. The five Buddha crown ornaments are the pure forms in which the five wisdoms arise after subduing the five poisons, such as delusion. Having three eyes means destroying darkness with the eye of wisdom and being liberated from all samsara. The black, white, red, and yellow faces that are shown represent the four activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subjugating. Wrathful, peaceful, seductive, and laughing are not the same.
