It explains the various Kapala lineages. The black body color is the pure aspect of having great compassion. Having all the ornaments is the pure aspect of the six perfections. The eight hands are the pure aspect of the eight liberations. The sword in the first right hand is the nature of wisdom, which increases the intelligence of those with low intelligence. The lower hand holding the crossed vajra liberates sentient beings from the karma of ignorance. The next lower hand holding the axe cuts off samsara. The last hand holding the arrow is the stable nature of skillful means. The first left hand holding the rope leads sentient beings dwelling in samsara. The next lower hand holding the wheel cuts off the five poisons such as delusion. The next lower hand holding the trident destroys the three realms. The last hand holding the bow is the pure nature of wisdom. Sitting in a half-lotus position is a symbol of subduing the four maras. Sitting on a lotus and moon cushion, the experience of that Dharma can liberate from all samsara. Having the light of the sun, it shows the activity of the vidya-mantra, and tames the unruly sentient beings in a wrathful form. What is the essence of the vidya-mantra? It is like this: Bāla Bāti Tsara Mati, and so on. The vidya-mantra of the dharani of Rahu, the Great Vajrakila, liberates from all evil spirits, destroys all sins, and also liberates from all karma. This vidya-mantra has splendor, power, might, and bravery, and is the intellectual mudra of all Buddhas. If you hold this vidya-mantra, you will be liberated from all suffering. The so-called "one hundred and eight knots tied on a string" means: with a blue string, let a girl from the Brahmin, royal, noble, or other caste, between the ages of eight and twelve, wear clean clothes, bathe cleanly, eat white food, and face south to tie the knots. Tie one knot for each mantra, and there should be one hundred and eight mantras and knots in total. If you do this, you will be liberated from all evil spirits and from all suffering. The so-called "tying it around the neck, body, or hand" means:
