It is to benefit sentient beings. Rejoicing and praising the Queen of Mantras, Cool Grove, and not transgressing the command of the mantras. They are satisfied and happy, and rejoice and praise well. This is to say that those Bodhisattva lineages also rejoice in the Dharma of the Queen of Mantras, Cool Grove, and have had faith in the Dharma from before. In this way, after faith has fully arisen, they are exceedingly happy with joy, and the offerings to the Dharma are not interrupted. (Therefore,) they rejoice and praise. This is to say that it is the eighth stage of the deities of the Queen of Mantras, Cool Grove, taking vows to protect. Then, this is to say, after the deities have taken vows to protect. The Four Great Kings descended from the sky, which is to say that the Four Great Kings also are very happy with the Dharma. They had faith in the Bhagavan from before, and now they have even more, and then they went before the Bhagavan. Going to where the Bhagavan was, and arriving, this is to say that their respective rays also appeared, and faith in the Dharma of Cool Grove arose again and again, and similarly, it is the same for the Bhagavan. Therefore, the Four Great Kings also arrived well. Bowing to the feet of the Bhagavan with their heads, this is to say that the Four Great Kings were very happy and bowed to the lotus feet with reverence. Joining their palms and bowing to the Bhagavan, this is to say that the Four Great Kings knelt on their right knees before the Bhagavan, and then joined their palms to the Bhagavan. With unified opinions, unified language, and unified voices, they reported to the Bhagavan, saying, this is to say that with the same voice, the Great Kings also offered their requests to the Bhagavan with a mind of reverence for the Dharma of mantras. Venerable Bhagavan, this great sutra of Cool Grove is to protect, save, hide, and spread the secret mantras of mantras to all sentient beings, pacify the mind of hatred, destroy samsara, and indicate the path of correct wisdom. The Four Great Kings bowing to the feet, etc.

ī ba is to respectfully prostrate. The four great kings also protect themselves, reciting with their mouths, holding in their minds, and wearing on their bodies. This vidyā-mantra, when blessed, does not fall into the three lower realms and shows the path to enlightenment. 'Protecting the four assemblies' means that monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen, etc., are also the holy ones who protect beings. 'Completely saving' means being more excellent than others, becoming peaceful and happy, and being free from all suffering. 'Destroying all from yakshas and rakshasas to harming' means that even the unruly beings of the demon class are destroyed, and they are annihilated by the curse of vidyā-mantras and secret mantras. 'Venerable Bhagavan' means that the four great kings also ask the Bhagavan for this vidyā-mantra, which is to always protect the four assemblies. 'Monks, nuns, laymen, or laywomen also' means that the Bhagavan is always the four assemblies of the retinue, and the vidyā-mantra also protects them, removes obstacles, and always obtains happiness. 'This great sūtra of the Cool Grove should be received, worn, recited, and fully realized' means that this inconceivable queen of vidyā-mantras is the protector of the great charnel ground, the friend of beings, the teacher of human beings, and protects the realm of the three thousand great thousand worlds. The four assemblies also wear it, and after holding it, they also show it to all beings, freeing them from all suffering. The four assemblies also hold it in body, speech, and mind. 'Venerable Bhagavan' means that the four kings also offer requests to the Bhagavan again and again. 'Any monk, nun, layman, or laywoman' means protecting the four assemblies and all beings, freeing them from all suffering, and from this path also showing the accumulation of enlightenment.
