Adorned with everything, with three faces, six arms, body color blue. The right face is white, the left is red. The two right hands hold a sword and a vajra. The two left hands hold a lasso and a crossed vajra. The lower two hands draw a bow and arrow. The right leg is bent, the left is extended. Seated on a lotus and moon seat, possessing the light of the sun, residing in a wrathful posture. What are the words of the secret mantra of the vidyā-mantra? It is like this: Ṭa ka ge ṭa ka ge, and so on. May the great king Mig mi bzang (Wondrous Eye) protect the direction. This is the command of the Bhagavan and the power of the vidyā-mantra. King Mig mi bzang also protects the west and performs the deeds of benefiting sentient beings. The nāgas and so on, it is said that the demonic nāgas also send various diseases, bring harm to sentient beings, and cut off their lives. Wanting to steal their power, with the curse of the vidyā-mantra, the great king Mig mi bzang destroys them. Among the gods, there is the son of the god of wealth, the king of the gods. This is to say that the western king Mig mi bzang, with a true method, is great in power and strength, possessing color and possessing magical powers. Even in the disputes between gods and asuras, he is able to contend. We also seek refuge in them. We prostrate to him. This is the prostration of the demonic nāgas and the secret ones. That is also prostrating to the Bhagavan himself. This is to say that he has conquered the four māras and possesses perfection. With the wisdom of equality, he also pervades the realms of the world, and with compassionate eyes, he looks upon the Bhagavan. We prostrate to you. O perfect Buddha, hero! Omniscient and all-seeing one, I bow to you! This is to say that he has abandoned the obscurations of knowledge and the obscurations of habitual tendencies. Because body, speech, and mind are complete, it is complete. Having abandoned all worldly affairs, he becomes a Buddha. Gautama, we also, with the command of the truly perfect Buddha and the power of the vidyā-mantra, the great king Mig mi bzang and those demons also possess compassion and do the deeds of benefiting sentient beings.

Having done that. The so-called "after that" means "after that" in the words of the great king Ugly Eyes. The four great kings draped their upper garment over one shoulder, knelt on their right knee, and joined their palms, which means that in the terrifying Cool Grove cemetery, Dhritarashtra, Virudhaka, Ugly Eyes, Virupaksha, and the four great kings surrounded the Bhagavan there and reported to the Bhagavan. The so-called "prostrating only to the Bhagavan" means that the four great kings also circumambulated three times and prostrated again and again. The so-called "agreeing in opinion, agreeing in words, and agreeing in voice to report to the Bhagavan" means that those kings reported to the Bhagavan in unison. The so-called "Venerable Bhagavan" are the words spoken by the four great kings when reporting to the Bhagavan. This great sutra of the Cool Grove was spoken by the four great kings, spoken by the perfectly complete Buddhas, and similarly spoken by Shakyamuni who appeared in the past, future, and present, possessing great glory and great power, possessing loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity, with skillful means and wisdom inseparable, destroying samsara. The four great kings also uphold it as their yidam. The so-called "completely pervading the four assemblies" means that whether it is a bhikshu or a bhikshuni or a upasaka or a upasika, or other gods, humans, and all sentient beings residing there, the four great kings also, with the glory of the vidya-mantra, protect and save, completely subdue, completely pacify, set boundaries, eliminate poisons, pacify poisons, cut off offenses, may there be auspiciousness and happiness.

The four kings also warded off with the splendor of the vidyā-mantra. Regarding the protection, etc., for these four assemblies, it means: to abide in bliss and attain true wisdom. If they are to be born in the world, they will not be separated from this vidyā-mantra, they will remember it at the time of birth, and they will become complete in bliss. The four great kings will also similarly perform protection and rescue, etc. The phrase "Thus they requested" refers to what the four great kings said. The Blessed One spoke thus to the four great kings, meaning: with a mind pervaded by love, compassion, and equanimity, for the benefit of sentient beings, he spoke to the four great kings. "O great kings, the great king of vidyā-mantra has been taken," meaning: the Blessed One also blessed the great kings, causing them to uphold the vidyā-mantra, to remember it, and to utter the words of the vidyā-mantra from the mouths of the four great kings. "The great sūtra of the Cool Grove, I have completely taken," meaning: in countless eons past, they had already kept the vidyā-mantra queen, the Cool Grove, in their minds, and likewise, it was also with speech and body. Therefore, it is said, "completely taken." The phrase "O great kings" is the Blessed One repeatedly declaring to the four great kings. Furthermore, the phrase "I also rejoice in the great sūtra of the Cool Grove" refers to: rejoicing in the past countless Buddhas such as Dipamkara, and speaking these words. Similarly, future Buddhas will also declare, that is, future countless Buddhas such as Maitreya will also declare. Now, I also rejoice and declare. The phrase "Declare the vidyā-mantra, the great vidyā-mantra queen, listen well, keep it in mind, and I will declare" refers to: the original nature is not stained by other impurities, it is without self-nature and completely pure, there is no samsara and nirvana, and it pervades like space.
