After alms-gathering in Shravasti, he went to the house of the Brahmin boy Neta, the son of Taudeya. At that time, in the house of the Brahmin boy Neta, the son of Taudeya, on a bed covered with coarse cloth, there was a dog named "Dog Tooth." It was placed on a stone trough and did not drink the washing water mixed with rice and meat. Dog Tooth saw the Blessed One standing by the door. Upon seeing him, it howled, "A-u!" Then, the Blessed One said to Dog Tooth, "Dog Tooth, instead of saying 'Ai,' you howl 'A-u.' Is that not taming enough?" After saying this, Dog Tooth became angry, agitated, and displeased. It got off the bed covered with coarse cloth and hid in the wooden box for storing food under the bed. At that time, a person named Taudeya's son, the Brahmin boy Neta, came from outside. Then, Taudeya's son, the Brahmin boy Neta, returned, and Taudeya's son, the Brahmin boy Neta, saw Dog Tooth hiding in the wooden box for storing food under the bed. Upon seeing him, he said to the servant, "What did you say to this Dog Tooth?" Master, we didn't say anything to Dog Tooth. Although that is so, the Shramana Gautama came, and Dog Tooth saw the Shramana Gautama standing by the door. Upon seeing him, it howled, "A-u!" And the Shramana Gautama said to it, "Dog Tooth, instead of saying 'Ai,' you howl 'A-u.' Is that not taming enough?" After saying this, Dog Tooth became angry, agitated, and displeased. It got off the bed covered with coarse cloth and hid in the wooden box for storing food under the bed. Then, the Brahmin boy Neta became angry, agitated, and displeased. He came from Shravasti and went to Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Garden, which is the garden of Prince Jeta. At that time, the Blessed One was teaching the Dharma in the presence of hundreds of monks. The Blessed One saw Taudeya's son, the Brahmin boy Neta, coming from afar. Upon seeing him, he said to the monks, "Monks, do you see Taudeya's son, the Brahmin boy

Do you see the Brahmin boy Nedo coming from afar? The monk is like that. If the son of Todi, the Brahmin boy Nitso, has reached the time of death, after the body is destroyed, like an arrow that has not been shot, he will fall into evil paths, evil destinies, and degeneration, and be born among the hell beings, because he is very angry with me. Because of the reason of being very angry, in this way, some beings here, after the body is destroyed, will fall into evil paths, evil destinies, and degeneration, and be born among the hell beings. Then a monk spoke in verse at that time: Here, some people Seeing you very angry The teacher to the assembly of monks Predicted that meaning. Alas, this nurturing mother Now is the time of death, Because her mind is angry, Will be born among the hell beings. Angry at the Tathagata, Because of that reason, beings Like an arrow shot, In that way will go to evil destinies. Then Todi's son, the Brahmin boy Nitso, The Blessed One went to a place of ease, And together with the Blessed One manifested joy, Made many truly joyful words, and then sat to one side. Todi's son, the Brahmin boy Nitso, sat to one side and said this to the Blessed One: Gautama, have you been to my house? Brahmin boy, I have been. Gautama, didn't you say anything to my dog Dung? Brahmin boy, I here in the morning put on the Dharma robe and skirt, took the bowl, and entered Shravasti for alms, gradually after taking alms in Shravasti, went to your house, and stood at the door. At that time, the dog Dung was sitting on a bed covered with coarse cloth, putting the stone bowl on the ground, not drinking the rice porridge mixed with meat, seeing the dog Dung standing at the door, seeing it and also calling out. I said to it, dog Dung, what is your (name) called, and it "howled". So it was not tamed?

Having spoken, the dog named Dog Tooth angrily ate the saliva, displeased, got off the chair covered with coarse cloth, and sat in the wooden gap of the storage room under the chair. Gautama, do you know what Dog Tooth was to me in the previous life? Son of a Brahmin, stay quiet and don't ask me about this matter. You will always turn into harmful thoughts, be unbearable, and be uneasy in your heart. The son of Taude, the Brahmin boy Nezo, asked the Blessed One in this way two or three times. Gautama, do you know what Dog Tooth was to me in the previous life? The Blessed One also said to the son of Taude, the Brahmin boy Nezo, in this way two or three times. Son of a Brahmin, stay quiet and don't ask me about this matter. You will always turn into harmful thoughts, be unbearable, and be uneasy in your heart. Son of a Brahmin, you have not really seen this matter three times, therefore, son of a Brahmin, listen carefully and remember, I will tell you. Son of a Brahmin, your father Taude, after his body died, was born into the inferior life of a dog. Alas, Gautama, my father Taude, performed sacrifices, made fire offerings, and erected sacrificial pillars, so why? It will become like this. After his body dies, he will surely be born into the beautiful Brahma world. Son of a Brahmin, your father Taude, because of arrogance, just because of arrogance, was born into the inferior life of a dog. Son of a Brahmin, if you don't believe what Das said, son of a Brahmin, you therefore return to your own home, go there, and say this to Dog Tooth. If you, Dog Tooth, were my father Taude in the previous life, sit on the chair covered with coarse cloth, say this, and after sitting on the chair, say this, if you, Dog Tooth, were my father Taude in the previous life, pick up the food mixed with rice and meat on the stone mortar and eat it, say this. After eating it, say this to it, if you, Dog Tooth, were my father Taude in the previous life, what did you own at the time of your death
