The poison of the Nagas. That is the poison beyond the world. It is known as the poison of beings. Roots and leaves, are the poison dwelling beyond the world. Correctly mixing medicines, is the world turned upside down. That is known as the poison of mixing. The Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, with the splendor of the knowledge mantra, destroy the three poisons. Poison is father and mother. Poison will go into the earth. From the Great Golden Peacock Queen of Knowledge Mantras, the fifteenth chapter, which explains the splendor of knowledge mantras and the characteristics of poison. That which is called Ananda, was spoken by the perfectly complete Buddha. You should recite the names of the kings of the Nagas, who reside in the three realms, the forty-one chief kings of the Nagas. That which is called "Thus" refers to, looking at the names of the kings of the Nagas. The Naga king Ganga, flows from the mouth of an elephant in the east. This is called the water of the great ocean, turning to the right, it goes with five hundred Nagas to the great eastern ocean. The Naga king Sindhu, flows from the mouth of a bull king in the south. This is called the water of the great ocean, turning from the right, it goes with five hundred Nagas to the great southern ocean. The Naga king Pakshu, flows from the mouth of a horse in the west.
