所谓“赐教”是指为了众生的利益而赐教。所谓“阿难陀”是指圆满正等觉的佛所说。所谓“如此四大海也可能干涸”是指,大海没有解脱且广阔,但在七个太阳出现时也会干涸,因此也是无常的。所谓“大地也可能跃入虚空”是指,大劫之时,劫末之火会焚烧所有的大地。所谓“月亮和太阳也可能坠落地面”是指,现在太阳和月亮显现,但在那时,太阳和月亮也会被火焚烧,日月将不再显现。所谓“河流也可能逆流”是指,由于因缘的自性,河流也会消失。同样,地、风、火、水等世间的显现也会消失,如同幻觉和梦境的自性。所谓“如来的教言不会改变”是指,过去的佛是不可思议的,未来的佛也是如此,现在释迦狮子所开示的真理也是如此开示。所谓“之后”是指,真语之后的“之后”。所谓“薄伽梵对具寿阿难陀赐教”是指,薄伽梵反复宣说。所谓“阿难陀,因此”是指,明咒女王的功德是不可思议且无法言说的。所谓“明咒女王大孔雀”是指,大慈大悲且利益众生。所谓“四众”是指,近侍眷属、内眷属和外眷属。近侍眷属是指八十四俱胝那由他百千菩萨。内眷属是指二百五十声闻阿罗汉,以及比丘、比丘尼、优婆塞、优婆夷等。外眷属是指天和人等。所谓比丘尼等是指,明咒女王大孔雀会守护和救护他们。具寿阿难陀对薄伽梵说“善哉”是指,阿难陀。

The term "bestowing teachings" means bestowing teachings for the benefit of sentient beings. The term "Ananda" refers to what was spoken by the perfectly complete Buddha. The term "Thus, the four great oceans may dry up" means that the ocean has no liberation and is vast, but it will also dry up during the time of the seven suns, and therefore it is also impermanent. The term "The earth may leap into the sky" means that during the great kalpa, the fire at the end of the kalpa will burn all the earths. The term "The moon and sun may fall to the ground" means that now the sun and moon appear, but at that time, the sun and moon will also be burned by fire, and the sun and moon will no longer appear. The term "Rivers may flow backward" means that due to the nature of conditions, the river will also disappear. Similarly, the appearances of earth, wind, fire, water, and so on in the world will also disappear, like the nature of illusion and dreams. The term "The Tathagata's teachings will not change" means that the Buddhas of the past are inconceivable, and the Buddhas of the future are also the same, and the truth taught by Shakya Simha now is also taught in this way. The term "after that" refers to "after that" of the true word. The term "Bhagavan bestowed teachings on the venerable Ananda" means that the Bhagavan repeatedly spoke. The term "Ananda, therefore" means that the merits of the Queen of Vidyas are inconceivable and indescribable. The term "Queen of Vidyas, Great Peacock" means great compassion and benefiting sentient beings. The term "four assemblies" refers to the close retinue, the inner retinue, and the outer retinue. The close retinue refers to eighty-four kotis of nayutas of hundreds of thousands of Bodhisattvas. The inner retinue refers to two hundred and fifty Shravaka Arhats, as well as monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen. The outer retinue refers to gods and humans, and so on. The term "nuns, etc." means that the Queen of Vidyas, the Great Peacock, will protect and save them. The venerable Ananda said to the Bhagavan, "Well said," which means Ananda.

世尊开示说:欢喜地献上“好啊”的赞叹。所谓“如世尊所闻”,是结集者阿难为四众眷属开示的。所谓“四众”,即菩萨金刚藏等,有八十俱胝百千之多。舍利弗等声闻有二百五十人。所谓“比丘”,即比丘萨里等,仅是胜光王子的园林中给孤独园的比丘。所谓“比丘尼”,即罗睺罗之母释迦族女等一百一十八人。所谓“优婆塞”,即商人给孤独等众多优婆塞。所谓“优婆夷们恭敬此明咒女王大孔雀”,即是广为传播,随喜赞叹,诵读,受持,供养,尊为上师,修习。同样,以此功德,一切众生都能远离一切痛苦,获得安乐。 世尊如是开示之后,是指将明咒女王大孔雀的法门交付给阿难。所谓“具寿阿难陀”,即阿难陀等二百五十声闻。所谓“具寿与山”,即如是声闻等。所谓“天”,即天王等色界和欲界诸天聚集。所谓“人”,即人王阿阇世王等。所谓“众多安住的非天”,即非天之王罗睺罗等无数安住者。所谓“风神”,即风神之王数取等无数安住者。所谓“迦楼罗”,即迦楼罗之王金眼等无数迦楼罗。所谓“乾闼婆”,即乾闼婆之王五髻等无数者。所谓“人非人”,即人非人之王树等无数者。所谓“大腹行”,即大腹行之王功德

The Blessed One spoke, and they joyfully offered praises of "Good!" The phrase "As heard by the Blessed One" refers to the teachings given by the collector Ananda to the fourfold assembly. The "fourfold assembly" refers to bodhisattvas such as Vajragarbha, numbering eighty kotis, hundred thousands. There were two hundred and fifty shravakas, including Shariputra. The term "bhikshus" refers to bhikshus such as Bhikshu Sari, merely the bhikshus of the Jetavana Grove in the Anathapindika's Park. The term "bhikshunis" refers to one hundred and eighteen, including Rahula's mother, the Shakya women. The term "upasakas" refers to many upasakas, including the merchant Anathapindika. The phrase "upasikas revered this Queen of Vidyas, the Great Golden Peacock" means they widely propagated it, rejoiced in it, recited it, upheld it, made offerings to it, honored it as their guru, and meditated on it. Likewise, through its merits, all sentient beings will be separated from all suffering and attain happiness. After the Blessed One had spoken thus, it means that the Dharma of the Queen of Vidyas, the Great Golden Peacock, was entrusted to Ananda. The phrase "Venerable Ananda" refers to the two hundred and fifty shravakas, including Ananda. The phrase "Venerable with mountains" refers to such shravakas. The term "devas" refers to the assembled devas of the form and desire realms, including the king of the devas. The term "men" refers to human kings such as King Ajatashatru. The phrase "many abiding asuras" refers to the countless abiding asuras, including the king of the asuras, Rahu. The term "wind gods" refers to the countless abiding wind gods, including the king of the wind gods, Samkhyahrada. The term "garudas" refers to the countless garudas, including the king of the garudas, Golden Eyes. The term "gandharvas" refers to the countless gandharvas, including the king of the gandharvas, Five Crests. The term "kimnaras" refers to the countless kimnaras, including the king of the kimnaras, Tree. The term "mahoragas" refers to the king of the mahoragas, Qualities.

也安住于具足名声等众多之处。名为夜叉者,即安住于夜叉之王俱毗罗等众多之处。名为罗刹者,即安住于罗刹之王怖畏等众多之处。凡是人与非人聚集于彼眷属之中安住者,彼等一切皆欢喜,名为王子胜者之园,给孤独的祇陀林中。彼等一切皆安住于世尊之前,恭敬随喜明咒之王。世尊所说之语,即是赞叹,名为于此不可思议之法彼等一切之前。世尊真实宣说。明咒之王大孔雀随喜之位,即第二十八。明咒之王大孔雀之第五品观察圆满。明咒之王大孔雀十万释。印度大学者业金刚所造圆满。大学者班智达阿摩伽跋折罗亲自翻译。

And also dwells in many places with fame and so on. The one called Yaksha dwells in many places such as the Yaksha king Kubera. The one called Rakshasa dwells in many places such as the Rakshasa king Bhairava. All those humans and non-humans who gathered in that retinue and stayed there, all of them rejoiced, namely in Prince Jeta's Grove, Anathapindika's Jeta Grove. All of them stayed in front of the Blessed One, respectfully rejoicing in the Queen of Vidyas. The words spoken by the Blessed One are praised, namely in front of all those inconceivable dharmas.
