侍者和眷属,谷壳和眷属,大臣和眷属,船长和眷属,信使和眷属,使者和眷属,仆人和眷属,以及眷属们。那些龙王们,每一方都具有四种姓氏。同样,毒和时节也是如此。此外,凡是这大地中央时时发出雷鸣之声的,是指三千大千世界的世间界,或者说,即使在这赡部洲,也会时时发出雷鸣之声。时时放出闪电,是指那些龙王们也能在天空中放出闪电。时时降雨,是指无论冬夏都会降雨。时时促成庄稼成熟,是指使未成熟的成熟,为了众生的利益而使年成丰收。见到佛陀,是指与圆满正等觉的佛陀,如毗婆尸佛等,过去诸佛会面,并且也将见到未来弥勒佛等。现在与释迦牟尼佛会面后皈依。受持学处,是指初八或者十四或者月圆等斋戒日,恒常如法受持。皈依三宝,是指皈依佛宝、法宝、僧宝三宝。远离鹏鸟的怖畏,是指其他的龙有被鹏鸟所威胁的怖畏,但那些龙王们不会被威胁。远离火和沙的怖畏,是指其他龙的领地有火和沙的怖畏,但他们不会被这些所威胁。从国王的刑罚中解脱,是指从国王们挖掘土地,或者因腐肉而引起的恐惧,或者血液等腐烂,或者找不到药物等恐惧中解脱。守护土地,是指那些龙所居住的地方,年成好,雨水充足,水源好,不会遭受饥荒,众生的福报增长,不会被龙的灾难所侵袭。居住在珍宝的巨大宫殿中,是指 东方

With attendants and retinue, with husks and retinue, with ministers and retinue, with captains and retinue, with messengers and retinue, with envoys and retinue, with servants and retinue, and retinues. Those dragon kings each possess four lineages in each direction. Similarly, so are poisons and seasons. Furthermore, those who proclaim the sound of thunder from time to time in the center of this earth, refers to the realm of the three thousand great thousand worlds, or even in this Jambudvipa, the sound of thunder is proclaimed from time to time. Emitting lightning from time to time, refers to those dragon kings also emitting lightning in the sky. Raining from time to time, refers to causing rain to fall in both summer and winter. Accomplishing crops from time to time, refers to ripening the unripe, making the year prosperous for the benefit of sentient beings. Seeing the Buddhas, refers to meeting the Buddhas of the past, such as the perfectly complete Buddhas like Vipashyin, and also seeing those of the future, such as Maitreya. Now, having met Shakyamuni Buddha, taking refuge. Upholding the basis of training, refers to always properly upholding the vows of the eighth, fourteenth, or full moon days, etc. Going for refuge to the Three Jewels, refers to going for refuge to the Three Jewels: the Buddha Jewel, the Dharma Jewel, and the Sangha Jewel. And from the fear of Garuda, refers to other dragons having the fear of being threatened by Garuda, but those dragon kings are not threatened. And from the fear of fire and sand, refers to other dragons' territories having the fear of fire and sand, but they are not threatened by these. Liberation from the fear of royal duties, refers to liberation from the fear of kings digging the earth, or the fear caused by rotten flesh, or the rotting of blood and so on, or not finding medicine, etc. Holding the earth, refers to the places where those dragons reside having good harvests, abundant rain, good water sources, and not being afflicted by famine, the prosperity of sentient beings increases, and they are not afflicted by the fear of dragons. The palace in the north is made with a foundation of emerald and adorned with various precious jewels. The four intermediate directions also correspond to the four main directions. They reside in palaces that are beautiful to behold. Those called "Long-lived, abiding for a kalpa" abide for one intermediate kalpa. Those called "Famous for great power" are powerful, even the other nagas, and are famous in the world. Those called "Having great magical power" can manifest various forms in the underground, on the ground, and above the ground, and travel higher and higher.
