The secret mantra of the knowledge mantra is: Om Vajra Am Kusha Jah (藏文：ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨཾ་ཀུ་ཤ་ཛཿ，梵文天城体：ॐ वज्र अङ्कुश जः，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ vajra aṅkuśa jaḥ，汉语字面意思：Om, Vajra, Hook). Attach the secret mantra of the knowledge mantra to it and summon. For those unruly spirits, stop them with Om and Vajra Hum. The prayer of the knowledge mantra cannot make them stay. Mount Sumeru, cemetery, palace, ocean, empty valley, solitary tree, forest, crossroads, mountaintop, stupa base, well, spring, great lake, garden, similarly, city, village, town, palace, mountaintop, sky, air, water, and land, similarly, underground road. With the mudra of Jah Hum Bam Hoh (藏文：ཛཿ་ཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ，梵文天城体：जः हुं वं होः，梵文罗马拟音：jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ，汉语字面意思：Jah Hum Bam Hoh), many spirits are summoned by the knowledge mantra. Summon those unruly spirits with the mudra of the knowledge mantra. Again, the method of expulsion is: mix mustard seeds with ashes, take thorny branches from the corners of warehouses and houses, mix them with ashes and mustard seeds, and recite the verses of truth. With the glory of the Sugatas, the power of the crowned ones, and the true words that protect all, the samadhi of reversing and eliminating, the wisdom of the Golden Buddha, the miracles of the Light-Protecting Buddha, the diligence of Shakya Lion, may those spirits be destroyed! With Utsata Ya Phat (藏文：ཨུ་ཙ་ཏ་ཡ་ཕཊ་，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：，汉语字面意思：), attach it to the heart essence of the knowledge mantra. Strike the big drum and hand drum, and other sounds, strike these sounds to expel the spirits. Various flowers, tormas, various roots and leaves, various grains and water, should be scattered in the direction of arrival. After expelling in this way, suppress them. On leaves of grass, etc., draw the image of the spirit and the wheel, and write the name inside it. Put in mustard seeds, salt, ashes, as well as calamus, poison, and bitter juice, and wrap them up. Put it in the skull of a leper who has no descendants. For the summoning and sending of spirits mentioned earlier, add स्तम्भय (藏文：སྟམྦྷ་ཡ，梵文天城体：स्तम्भय，梵文罗马拟音：stambhaya，汉语字面意思：Stop) to the knowledge mantra. Suppress it on the road, at the crossroads, under the stupa, or in a place where people gather.

Burn it while pressing down. With the fragrances of sandalwood and others, Wash the bodies with that water. After fasting, wear clean clothes. Offer a pyre to the Sengdeng tree. Various grains and roots, And whatever harmful thing is named, Scatter into the pyre. Add the fire mantra to the secret mantra. Burn all forms of spirits. Tormas, flowers, leaves, and Give to the Dharma protectors. Then speak these words of truth, Utter them correctly: By the splendor of all Buddhas, And the splendor of the self-born ones, And the power of the Arhats, And all the mantra holders, And the wisdom of Shariputra, And the magical powers of Maudgalyayana, And the unobstructed eye of Aniruddha, And the qualities of Upali's discipline, And the first hearing of Kaundinya, And the extensive learning of Ananda, And the loving-kindness of Brahma, And the powers of Indra, Obtain the lands of the world protectors. And the power of the Great Ishvara, And the power of the leaders, Possessing the splendor and magical powers of the Robber. By the power of those noble ones, May my harmer be burned! Spirits, poisons, and enemies, And all my fears, By those truths of the Buddhas, May all beings and I, And all sins be burned! May the words of the secret mantra be true! Likewise, again and again, add the fire mantra to the secret mantra and burn it. Then, what is the Vidya mantra? It is Samantabhadra, the pure basis, the indivisibility of means and wisdom. What it symbolizes is the wisdom like a mirror. What symbolizes it is the queen of Vidyas, the Great Peacock. It is the Vajra family. It is the aggregate of consciousness. It is the space element. It is the source of mind. It is the nature of hatred. It is the crown ornament of the five Buddha families. Three-eyed, one-faced, four-armed, with a wrathful expression, mouth open, bared fangs, terrifying, body color black. All limbs are adorned with jewels and snakes, the lower garment is made of tiger skin. The first right hand holds a five-pronged vajra, below it a sword, the first left hand holds a threatening mudra and a lasso, below it an iron hook. The right leg is bent, the left leg extended.
