I am mistaken. If the sound is unpleasant, then there is grain but no wealth. From the Four Great Kings to Paranirmitavasavartin, there is no grain but there is wealth. From the Brahma Assembly to Akanistha, there is neither wealth nor grain. For the people of Jambudvipa, just as there is manifest attachment to parents or daughters or slaves, masters or servants, so it is for the two continents as well. For those with unpleasant sounds, there is no manifest attachment. For the Four Great Kings, just as those other than grain have manifest attachment, from the Thirty-three Gods to Paranirmitavasavartin, those other than grain have manifest attachment. From the Brahma Assembly to Akanistha, there is no attachment to anything. The people of the four continents have women with menstruation, pregnancy, and childbirth. The gods of the Four Great Kings, like the five-year-old children of the people of Jambudvipa, are born by transformation on the shoulders or in the laps of gods or goddesses. The gods or goddesses think, "This is my son or daughter." Those boys and girls think, "These are our fathers or mothers." The people of the Thirty-three Gods are like six years old, the people of the No-Conflict Gods are like seven years old, the people of the Tushita Gods are like eight years old, the people of the Nirmanarati Gods are like nine years old, and the people of the Paranirmitavasavartin Gods are like ten years old, born by transformation on the shoulders or in the laps of gods or goddesses. The gods or goddesses rejoice, thinking, "This is my divine daughter." Those boys and girls also think, "These are our fathers or mothers." From the Brahma Assembly to Akanistha, from the beginning, the limbs of the body and all the limbs are born completely, and at the time of death it is the same. For the formless beings, there is no body. Therefore, for them, birth is not manifest, nor is death manifest. That which is called great magical power is that those gods cannot go upwards from their own place, and likewise it is also the foot of magical power. That which is called having light is that the light does not go upwards, but pervades each and shines as light. That which is called great merit and great enjoyment is that the respective merit and enjoyment of those gods is extremely great.
