This is said to be snatching away the weak and young lives, and also taking the lives of animals. The stars and the sun and moon, and the fierce planets cause harm. This is said to make the sun and moon invisible, and also snatching away food and drink. Old trees, fruits, and flowers, medicines, and food and drink, this is said to be those spirits also sending untimely wind and hail. ། །亦能驱逐彼等夜叉。所谓“如是”者，乃为彼等部多之故而随逐，于城镇乡村中作害，于门隅、洞穴、隘口处栖息执持也。“亦能取命夺身躯，于诸恶道常游荡。”所谓“如是”者，乃于身躯施以剧烈痛苦，令其命终也。乃至七劫之间亦常追逐。“种种形相诸色相，种种音声诸声响。”所谓“如是”者，乃变幻种种形相，幻化种种颜色也。“种种疾病诸病苦，示现安住于身躯。”所谓“如是”者，乃示现麻风、疖肿、眼疾等四百零四种疾病之主宰也。“亦能颠倒诸病相，悉皆示现诸病状。”所谓“如是”者，乃示现风、胆、涎，或涎、风、胆，令脉象紊乱也。“世间所有诸自性，彼等悉皆颠倒示。”所谓“如是”者，乃于三千大千世界之中，刹那、须臾、瞬间游行，并颠倒示现对众生之损害也。“以明咒索牵引故，彼等一切皆来此。”所谓“如是”者，乃以摧毁大千世界之忿怒母咒索，束缚不驯顺之部多也。“是后”者，乃讲述部多之后。“大王名曰多闻子。”所谓“如是”者，乃对北方作害之鬼神施以惩罚者。“起立合掌恭敬礼。”所谓“如是”者，乃于眷属之中，于佛陀之前起立也。“足下具有轮相者，犹如燃烧黄金幢。”所谓“如是”者，乃具足三十二相，八十随好，乃法蕴之自性身也。“照亮世间作明灯，大雄能仁如火燃。”所谓“如是”者，乃于三千大千世界之中，显现为正法之王，如劫末之火般炽燃之光明也。“六十四千之数者，夜叉密咒极可畏。”所谓“如是”者，乃世尊以大千世界之明咒亲口宣说。
