Having attained happiness, having attained freedom from sorrow, and acting fearlessly, I vow to be in the place of the supreme great elephant. In the assembly, the sound of the lion's roar is proclaimed. In the world, whether it be a renunciate, or a Brahmin, or a god, or a demon, or Brahma, or anyone else, I shall thoroughly turn the wheel of Brahma, which those endowed with Dharma are unable to turn. Having vowed that my defilements are exhausted, if it is said that these defilements are not completely exhausted, whether it be a renunciate, or a Brahmin, or a god, or a demon, or Brahma, or any other assembly of beings, I shall thoroughly turn the wheel, which those endowed with Dharma are unable to turn. Having vowed that my defilements are exhausted, if it is said that these defilements are completely exhausted, whether it be a renunciate, or a Brahmin, or a god, or any other assembly of beings, becoming endowed with Dharma in the world, yet not truly seeing the cause, not truly seeing the cause, not truly seeing the cause. Therefore, having attained happiness, having attained freedom from sorrow, and acting fearlessly, I vow to be in the place of the supreme great elephant. Whatever obstacles I have fully taught, relying on those, becoming obstacles, whether it be a renunciate, or a Brahmin, or a god, or a demon, or Brahma, or any other assembly of beings, becoming endowed with Dharma in the world and refuting, yet not truly seeing the cause, not truly seeing the cause. Therefore, having attained happiness, having attained freedom from sorrow, and acting fearlessly, I vow to be in the place of the supreme great elephant. Whatever noble path I have realized has arisen

Those factors that lead to suffering, through effort, suffering is completely ceased and will not arise again, whether it be a śrāmaṇa, or a Brahmin, or a god, or a demon, or a Brahmā, or anyone else, in the world who opposes me with the true Dharma, I do not see such a cause. Because I do not see such a cause, I obtain happiness, obtain freedom from sorrow, obtain fearlessness, and act freely, making a vow in the midst of the excellent assembly. In the Saṃgha, I roar the lion's roar. I say that in the world, whether it be a śrāmaṇa, or a Brahmin, or a god, or a demon, or a Brahmā, or anyone else, no one can turn the wheel of Brahmā with the true Dharma, but I will turn it excellently, these four are fearlessness. Saṃgha refers to five hundred Arhats. Roaring the lion's roar in the Saṃgha refers to the sound of emptiness of self-nature. The excellent assembly refers to the venerable Ānanda. Vast refers to the sound of emptiness that pervades like the sky. What is the function of this sound of emptiness? It liberates all sentient beings. True refers to non-perversion, which is the Dharmakāya. The Dharmakāya, what is it like? It is like a rabbit's horn. It is unspeakable because it has no substance. This is a metaphor for the Dharmakāya. Uttering refers to actually acting with the two, the Rūpakāya. The two Rūpakāyas are like the horns of a yak. The horns of a yak can appear as substance and also have the function of piercing. Therefore, the two Rūpakāyas have the function of existence. The Dharmakāya has the function of non-existence. Because it has the function of existence and non-existence, it can utter the sound of emptiness. Brahmā refers to the eight reproaches that Light Protector (a disciple of the Buddha) spoke to Ānanda, because of Brahmā, it is Brahmā. Turning the wheel refers to turning the wheel of the Dharma of the Buddha's teachings. Army refers to the four Māras. Power refers to their respective abilities. Young refers to the appearance of gods and humans. The total number is one hundred billion trillion times fifteen kinds of demons. Demon
