If recited in this way, visualize the vase as the mandala of the moon arising from the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ), and on top of that, surrounded by a white garland of mantras arising from the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ), or visualize Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Oṃ), Vaṃ (Tibetan: བཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Vaṃ), Saṃ (Tibetan: སཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: सं, Sanskrit Romanization: saṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Saṃ), Jaḥ (Tibetan: ཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Jaḥ) in the four directions, and having abandoned faults such as distraction, recite the long and short mantras alternately one hundred and eight times. At that time, visualize the light of the mantra and the moon gathering all the rays of wisdom and the nectar of the world, dissolving into the moon and all the letters. Then, recite only the short mantra and circumambulate one hundred and eight times. Recite three times, prostrate, and circumambulate. The offerings are: for protection, white cloth and so on, for prolonging life and so on, yellow substances, for deceiving the dead, the color of the graveyard, for seeking a child and so on, red, for averting harm, blue, for all activities, green is auspicious. After offering the offerings without stinginess, the wise teacher takes the vase with a branch in his hand. If leaving, abandon extra thoughts, and bathe with dignity. In this way, first recite auspiciousness, and also make aspirations, and then recite this blessing of truth: Supreme teacher, worthy of worship by gods and humans, I pay homage to the Buddha, may there be well-being here and now! Peaceful, free from attachment, worthy of worship by gods and humans, I pay homage to the Dharma, may there be well-being today! The assembly of
