Therefore, if asked whether it is not possible to cause harm? It is not so. Through other vidya-mantras and secret mantras, the complete combination of the body that causes harm to the body is certain. The complete use of language, saying "come here" with language, will become stiff. So, if asked whether gaining control over sentient beings cannot cause harm? It will make the mind dull. If it makes the mind dull, then that mind's special abilities will not arise. Because it makes the body and speech stiff, it is said to make all sentient beings stiff. Furthermore, if from this great power of secret mantra, an action of making stiff is performed in conjunction with mantra, it will definitely become stiff, like encountering an invincible enemy. Therefore, if one wants to make it stiff, one makes an image of the enemy out of beeswax, fills it with thorny mouths, and does this when binding speech, the enemy's speech will become stiff and unable to answer. If one wants to make the enemy's body stiff, then in the place where the yogi's seat is, from the depths of a pit dug by oneself, one takes moist soil, fumigates it with black guggul, and sprinkles mustard seeds on each mantra. Thus, when one thousand and eight mantras are completed, the soil is placed in a seamless ceramic bowl, placed in the center of a vajrakila, and something that can only hold a bamboo pole is placed in it, and one thousand mustard seeds are placed inside, and it is sealed with mantra, then surrounded with poisonous wood and burned. When the inside and the mustard seeds burn and the color changes, it is taken out and placed in a clean container. At the time when thieves and robbers occur, if it is mixed with the soil under the feet and scattered, they will become stiff and stunned. Because it makes the mind ignorant, it is said to make it dull. Or, if from this great power of secret mantra, an action of making dull is performed in conjunction with mantra, it will definitely become confused, like suffering from a serious plague. Therefore, if one wants to make his memory lost, one makes the enemy's lingam, sprinkles it with datura juice and various poisons and wine, and memory will be lost. The nature of secret mantra is: Buddha images, mudras, words, letters, sounds, and forms, etc. Secret mantra.

The definitive words and the actions of the Blessed One himself are: By this, afflictions are destroyed, perfections are attained, or one knows things as they truly are, therefore it is "wisdom." The nature of the six deities is also called "secret mantra." Or, derived from the Indian sound, it is called "Mantra" (Sanskrit Devanagari: मन्त्र, Sanskrit Romanization: mantra, Chinese literal meaning: mantra), in terms of knowing and protecting, it is called "secret mantra." Or, because it possesses "na," or is secretly spoken, it is a "secret mantra." It should be known that secret mantra is accomplished by the secret dharma itself. In the Indian region, there is a ritual of stealing accomplishments. If one does not know the mudra and secret mantra of the flesh to be practiced, one cannot steal it, so it is secret. This "great power" refers to: This, which arises from the essence of mantra, long mantra, and emptiness, can accomplish one's own benefit and also accomplish the benefit of others, therefore it is great power. Or, following others, performing uncommon healing activities, cutting off others, killing others, can also accomplish uncommon activities, so it is also said to be this great power. However, by whose power is it spoken? It is spoken by the power of the Buddha. The Buddha has already been mentioned above. Then, who spoke it? It was spoken by Vajrapani. Vajrapani has also been mentioned above. Then, what was spoken? This great power of secret mantra was spoken. Secret mantra has also been mentioned above. Then, what virtuous thing was spoken? It spoke of possessing both the perfections of self and others. This has also been mentioned. Therefore, the perfect qualities of the six deities have been explained. Now, the characteristics of sound and letters are explained. From "Namo Ratna Trayaya" (Tibetan: ན་མོ་རཏྣ་ཏྲ་ཡཱ་ཡ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमो रत्नत्रयाय, Sanskrit Romanization: namo ratnatrayāya, Chinese literal meaning: Homage to the Three Jewels) to "Amrite Hum Phat" (Tibetan: ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏེ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अमृते हूँ फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: amṛte hūṃ phaṭ, Chinese literal meaning: Ambrosia Hum Phat), both the deities of sound and letters are shown. The differentiation of the meaning of the mantra is not explained here either. The reason for not explaining its meaning is because it will become weak in power. It should be understood from the commentary on "Differentiation of the Meaning of Mantras" composed by the teacher Vimalamitra (Sanskrit Devanagari: विमल मित्र, Sanskrit Romanization: Vimalamitra). Therefore, sound and letters have been summarized into one and explained. Now is the emanation and absorption of light.
