When offering, cut off the opponent's mantra with the sword of the poor, put it in poisonous water and burn it in the fire, reciting: Om Vajra Jwalana Ya, the mantra of so-and-so, Tstshinda Tstshinda Maraya Hum Phat (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཛྭཱ་ལཱ་ན་ཡཱ་ཆེ་གེ་མོའི་རིག་སྔགས་ཙྪིནྡ་ཙྪིནྡ་མཱ་ར་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: Om vajra jvalana ya che-ge-mo'i rig sngags tstshinda tstshinda maraya hum phat, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: Om vajra jvalana ya che-ge-mo'i rig sngags tstshinda tstshinda maraya hum phat, literal Chinese meaning: Om Vajra Jwalana Ya, the mantra of so-and-so, Tstshinda Tstshinda Maraya Hum Phat), and burn it in the fire. By performing the fire offering in this way twenty-one times or one hundred and eight times, the opponent's mantra will be cut off. Alternatively, if the power of this great secret mantra is combined with the mantra and a fierce fire offering is performed, then all desires to be cut off will be accomplished, just like a person who does not hold a sharp sword well. The meaning of all mantras is the same as above. The meaning of harming is to suppress the mantra. That is, write the mantra on mantra paper, wrap it with yellow thread, draw a vajra cross on each of two stone slabs, place it between the two stone slabs, suppress it with a Mount Meru with eight peaks, and at the end of the mantra recite: The mantra of so-and-so, Stambha Ya Stambha Ya Nan Hum Phat (Tibetan: ཆེ་གེ་མོའི་རིག་སྔགས་སྟཾ་བྷ་ཡ་སྟཾ་བྷ་ཡ་ནན་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: che-ge-mo'i rig sngags stambha ya stambha ya nan hum phat, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: che-ge-mo'i rig sngags stambha ya stambha ya nan hum phat, literal Chinese meaning: The mantra of so-and-so, Stambha Ya Stambha Ya Nan Hum Phat), and suppress it, then all mantras will be suppressed. These two methods are only symbolic, and binding and piercing can also be performed. If you want to bind the mantra, have a young girl who keeps her vows and is not defiled by the laws of the village weave five-colored threads, twist them into one strand, tie a vajra knot, put it in a paper with the opponent's mantra written on it, and at the end of the mantra recite: The mantra of so-and-so, Bandha Bandha Hum Phat (Tibetan: ཆེ་གེ་མོའི་རིག་སྔགས་བནྡྷ་བནྡྷ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: che-ge-mo'i rig sngags bandha bandha hum phat, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: che-ge-mo'i rig sngags bandha bandha hum phat, literal Chinese meaning: The mantra of so-and-so, Bandha Bandha Hum Phat), put it in the knot, then all mantras will be bound. If you want to pierce with a phurba, make an image of the opponent's mantra out of beeswax, pierce its heart and other parts with the phurba, and at the end of the mantra recite: The image of the god of so-and-so, Kili Kilaya Hum Phat (Tibetan: ཆེ་གེ་མོ་ལྷའི་གཟུགས་ཀཱི་ལི་ཀཱི་ལཱ་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: che-ge-mo lha'i gzugs kili kilaya hum phat, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: che-ge-mo lha'i gzugs kili kilaya hum phat, literal Chinese meaning: The image of the god of so-and-so, Kili Kilaya Hum Phat), if you pierce the heart, then all mantras will be pierced with the phurba. Mantras are only approximate symbols, and cutting and other actions can be performed on all worldly and transcendental mantras, secret mantras, the words of practitioners, and the images of gods.

If one performs the activity of suppressing by combining it with mantra, then all that one wishes to suppress will be closely suppressed, like Mount Meru. 'All activities' refers to the four types of activities. 'To destroy' means that the qualities inherent in secret mantra destroy those things that would harm me. Alternatively, if one combines the great power of this secret mantra with mantra and performs fierce actions, then all non-human harms that one wishes to destroy will certainly be destroyed, like facing robbers. 'To destroy all the actions of others' means that the qualities possessed by the practitioner, merely by expulsion and vajra blessings, and all things like binding oneself, cannot withstand it, therefore it is said 'to destroy all the actions of others.' Alternatively, if one combines the great power of this secret mantra with mantra and performs fierce actions, then all the actions of other practitioners will be destroyed, like an elephant destroying a reed house. 'All demons' refers to the eighteen great demons and so on. 'To destroy' means that all things that would harm oneself are destroyed by this. Alternatively, if one combines the great power of this secret mantra with mantra and performs fierce actions, then if one performs the activity of killing all demons such as Vinayaka, one will certainly destroy body and speech like dust particles, like a great city being consumed by fire. 'All demons' refers to the life of the city. 'To liberate' means that if some people are bewitched by those demons, then by first performing the practice of this, making the mandala of this, and performing this bathing ritual in front of the image of Vajrapani, one will be liberated merely by expulsion and vajra blessings. Alternatively, if one combines the great power of this secret mantra with mantra and performs fierce actions, then merely by the activity of expulsion and vajra blessings, one will certainly be liberated from whatever is possessed by demons, like being liberated from prison, instruments of torture, iron chains, and wooden yokes. These are the explanations of the characteristics of fierceness. Now are the characteristics of empowerment.
