Through the accumulation of merit, accomplishing the complete fulfillment of beings' desires, and in order to subdue demons and rakshasas, he emanates as a wrathful form out of compassion, causing them to stiffen. He expands peace, causes all beings to stiffen, and so forth, for the sake of subduing and benefiting them. In between these, due to the perverted mind, perverted views, perverted wisdom, and perverted perceptions, from all afflictions, through skillful means, the immeasurable accumulation of merit from previous lives is greatly amassed. Now, for those arrogant beings who harm the teachings of Shakyamuni, with the terrifying and skillful emanations of immeasurable forms, and by adding other beings who cause harm, he eliminates all the suffering of afflictions from the perverted perception of seeing "I" and "mine." Having subdued those arrogant ones, as they wish for great enlightenment, he increases the immeasurable accumulation of qualities. For the sake of causing fear, panic, stiffness, and trembling in the king of demons and arrogant couples, and so on. In another way, without moving from the state of equanimity in the non-conceptual bodhicitta, the peaceful samadhi of dharmata, he increases all the immeasurable accumulations of merit from previous lives. Abiding in the three realms, with compassion and skillful means of activity for all beings, in order to bring forth the complete nature of qualities that arise from various activities of subduing the demons who harm the teachings of all the Tathagatas, he satisfies and brings happiness to beings through various names. The subtle demons, rakshasas, and arrogant ones who are not subdued above are subdued by various wrathful emanations from the wrathful samadhi. In order to save them from suffering and place them in happiness, he causes them to stiffen and tremble with terrifying force. Having compassionately gathered them into the retinue of the Tathagatas, it is for the sake of accomplishing their benefit through the door of great beneficial qualities.
