DTG071 0003.Memorandum on Explaining the Meaning of Words in the Tantra Requested by Noble Vajrapani..g2.0f

English

In the great tantra, it is said: The essence is Kilikila (Tibetan: ཀི་ལི་ཀི་ལ་), walking, red body, Vajra Destroyer, Great Vajra, the best of essence, the fierce without remainder, and the name of auspicious peace. It should be known that these deities are divided into eight categories based on the differences in the merits of the heart of Vajrapani. The one called the Wrathful One is the eight assemblies mentioned in the great tantra of Supreme Knowledge: Ambrosia Furnace Combination, Bewilderment, Fortress, Name Giving, Iron Staff, Teeth, New, Fierce. The lord of great power, life, and wisdom, such as Supreme Knowledge, is the other Vidyarajas mentioned in the great tantra of Vajrapani empowerment: Supreme Knowledge, Elephant Ear, Harm Ornament, Terrifying, Seizing, Vajra Rope. The one called Following Secret Mantras is the many deity distinctions mentioned as following the Vidyarajas. The lord of his mantra, Hayagriva, means that he is the king of all secret mantras of the Padma family. The mandala named after him is the Vidyaraja of the Padma family, the glorious Hayagriva. In the glorious Samputa Tantra and others, the name can be applied to all arising abiding mandalas, but it is not limited to the special mandala of the noble Hayagriva himself. The seven unfailing nooses shown are the six unfailing nooses mentioned earlier and the glorious Hayagriva, making a total of seven deities. The metaphor of blazing like seven suns means burning all the karma and afflictions of the practitioner, and also making the increasing power blaze. These are the secret mantras of the Hayagriva mandala, which shows that the Vidyaraja can also control their mandalas. Called the giver of the best to humans, it means giving the eight saints and others. Called revered by the three realms, it is a general term for the gods, humans, and nagas becoming places of offering. Called Tara

Like Va, etc., it indicates that there are eight mothers of the lotus family. Those called mandalas are the term for the mandalas of those mothers. The so-called various forms indicate the different forms of the mandala and the many retinues. Possessing various kinds of mudras, it is because each deity has many mudras due to the differences in activities. The so-called extensive tantra of secret mantras indicates the fourth division. Possessing pride, she is called the mistress of secret mantras, the sovereign of knowledge. It means that this fourth division has dominion over all secret mantras. In reality, she is not the consort of the Lasya woman. For her, Lasya is also very pleased. It means that the lord of the family is happy to consecrate her as queen. The so-called Yaksha sovereign refers to the leaders of the Yaksha class belonging to the extensive family. The so-called constant harmony with her means that Lasya and the chief of the Yakshas are of one mind, so the one with pride is empowered as the mistress of the secret mantras of the extensive family. The so-called explaining the assembly of secret mantras by her command means that the one with pride explains the tantras of the extensive family. Lasya has twenty thousand shlokas, meaning that in the extensive family, what is known as the Lasya tantra has twenty thousand shlokas. The so-called her wife refers to the stolen woman herself, and half of it is explained, meaning that ten thousand shlokas are explained. The so-called lord of wealth refers to the fifth family, the jewel family, which is actually glorious Jewel Good. Thirty thousand shlokas means that in the jewel family, what is known as the glorious Jewel Good tantra is said to have thirty thousand shlokas. The so-called father of Gangpo is the divine hermit Vaisravana. Gods and Asuras, etc., to the Victorious Ones, with faith, explained limitless secret mantras. It means that they granted it in the presence of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and afterwards they were pleased and explained it individually. Furthermore, some wander around without a place, which means that they are not included in the four families generated by Tara.
