Starting from the initial stage, explaining what comes along the way and then entering the main point is: The initial thought will attain accomplishment. This is related to what is said such as, "If the secret mantra is recited in this way and becomes close, one will see these dreams while sleeping at night," and one should know that the time for practice has arrived. The other meanings of the words are easy to understand, so they are not explained further. "At dawn" means to combine with all upper and lower observations. This is because, in the evening, it is the time of phlegm, so it is heavy; dusk and midnight are the time of bile, so it is dim and unclear, therefore the signs cannot be understood. Dawn is the time of wind, so it is clear, which is the meaning of understanding. The same meaning is also stated in the great tantra of Vajrapani empowerment: "When a quarter of the night remains, if one has a good dream." Therefore, the meaning of the fifth chapter has been explained. "Close to accomplishment" means that the secret mantra manifests, and through special closeness, the deity is pleased, which is the meaning of being closer to attaining accomplishment than before. "Likes to recite" and so on indicate that the deity becomes close, and the qualities of body, speech, and mind will manifest. The other meanings of the words are easy to understand. "Women" refers to the daughters of gods and asuras (non-gods) who have special appearances. "Desire gods" refers to gods and asuras who have special appearances. "Seizing splendor" means that they merely see each other and involuntarily generate desire. In order to prevent others from seeing these goddesses, they practice with secret mantras and medicine, hiding their bodies. "To call for the sake of enjoying desire" means that the practitioner's body, speech, and mind are pure, and those goddesses who hide their bodies will also appear, and they will also offer with intimate actions, which is a synonym for "offering." "The body is immaculate pure wisdom" means that if these signs appear, one should understand that there are no faults that contradict accomplishment. "Possessing the vows of fasting and discipline" means that after that, one confesses all faults and takes the vows of bodhicitta in front of one's own deity, which is a synonym.

Or in one, two, or three days, abstaining from food and dwelling in fasting. This is said to be for the sake of achieving the supreme and other three, showing that fasting should be done for many or few days. Others say that it arises from the magnitude of the practitioner's own experience, therefore it is said to be of three kinds. One's own possessions, such as walking in the sky, etc., will obtain manifest glory. The rest is easy to understand. Thus, all the limbs are gathered together, such as the impurities mentioned before. Endowed with earth, water, fire, wind, and space, it is shown that it is also the nature of the five elements. The body of a human being, following the actions as appropriate, is accomplished by the good and bad deeds of the past. "Endowed with all" indicates the connection with inner liberation and so on. Dwelling in the human form, excrement, urine, mucus, saliva, phlegm, etc., are those that flow from the nine orifices. For the sake of eliminating these, fasting is taught. It means that the body with inner liberation and impurities, although all of it cannot be abandoned, is for the purpose of making those impurities smaller and fewer. "When defilements are exhausted" means becoming smaller and fewer. If the human body is purified and cultivated, it will enter into happiness. It means that if the body is pure, that is, without defilements, then it is fit to be a vessel for accomplishment. "Even if afflicted by desire," and so on, in the context of the antidotes mentioned earlier, "If desire is strong, contemplate the impure body, flesh, fat, skin, and bones to be liberated." Thus it is said, distinguishing what is impure in that place, and what has not been said is also shown incidentally by this. The eye of wisdom means examined by wisdom without confusion. "Desire is completely extinguished from the root" means because it is subdued by the samadhi of impurity. "Just as the sun completely dispels darkness" means that by the power of the samadhi of liberation, afflictions are suppressed and abandoned. "That merit" is the word for relying on the samadhi of liberation. "Having practiced with that mantra" means whatever afflictions arose earlier.
