Thus understood. The term "not fast" refers to preventing mispronunciation during recitation. The term "not tired" is because the mind will wander to other places, causing faults. The term "not too loud" refers to preventing the fault of excitement. The term "not too soft" refers to preventing the fault of dullness. The term "not speaking" refers to reciting the words of secret mantras, so that the blessed true words are not mixed with other words, lest they cannot achieve siddhi, so this is to be prevented. The term "not distracted elsewhere" refers to not being distracted elsewhere except for visualizing the deity's body and the garland of letters on the moon disc, and the sound of the letters. The term "hooks, feet, tops, and dots not damaged" refers to both visualization and recitation. The term "like a river day and night constantly," and so on, refers to something similar to the precepts of the Vaibhashikas, and like the non-revealing form that arises from correctly upholding non-precepts, here too it is considered that the stream of virtuous habits is constant. The term "laziness" refers to not having a strong interest in virtue, being drowsy, lazy, and lying down, and becoming lazy by relying on begging. The term "desire" refers to the mind strongly inclining towards women and so on. The term "mind associated with non-virtue" refers to all other afflictions similar to those. The term "stopping" refers to not relying on antidotes at this time, but rather to stopping. The term "secret mantra letters offering" refers to hand seals, secret mantras, mind, and material offerings, etc., which are not possible at this time, so diligently and respectfully reciting itself is an offering to please the noble ones, so it is established. The term "looking at the tip of the nose" refers to looking at the tip of the nose with eyes half-open and half-closed, focusing attention on the tip of the nose, which is a synonym for not being distracted elsewhere. The term "abandoning conceptualization" refers to the mind not scattering from the object of samadhi to other places. The term "when moved, it does not move" refers to the yogi's mind being equally abiding, due to the power of habituation...

Whatever obstacles arise, one will not waver from the Samadhi focused on the object. At that time, one attains abiding in the object. This is called the name of Samadhi, meaning that one obtains such a designation. The mind becomes workable, meaning that from then on, one can engage in activities suitable for practice. Having a one-pointed mind, etc., indicates the benefits of attaining Samadhi. At that time, recitation becomes unobstructed, meaning that recitations of a workable mind are included in the count of practice, and are not wasted on the meaning of accomplishment. The rest is easy to understand. The Bhagavan Victorious One said that this is drawn from a very pure source of scripture. This Dharma, all, refers to all defilements and purifications. The root is said to be the mind, referring to the mind and mental factors of the three realms, whose three natures, essence, and entity are the imputed, the dependent, and the perfectly established, because the suchness of all Dharmas is contained therein. There, Dharma refers to the happiness of gods and humans, which they enjoy. The higher realm refers to being higher than other realms of existence. Liberation refers to one-sided Nirvana. The mind being completely tamed means that the state has been transformed by abandoning the two obscurations. Being separated from earth, water, fire, and wind means that one has attained the essence of the Dharmakaya. Being separated from birth, old age, and death means that one has gained control over them. "Etc." indicates that one is also shown to be separated from illness. Being separated from all harm at the beginning, middle, and end means that one abides in the Dharmadhatu, because it transcends the three times. Liberation means that the cause of the bonds of the three realms has been severed. One will attain bliss and peace, which means attaining non-abiding Nirvana, as it is said: For those endowed with great means, afflictions become limbs of enlightenment, and Samsara is also the nature of peace, therefore the Tathagata is inconceivable. Because it is said so. Common to all secret mantra accomplishments, refers to the mundane and
