One should focus on this and proceed in this order. The benefits of this are also as stated in the later part of the 'Vairochana Illuminating Tantra': "Whoever tames the mind, which is like a horse, by settling it equally, and if love and compassion become firm, they will quickly attain stable siddhis." This is as it is said. 'Watering down hatred' means extinguishing the fire of hatred with love and compassion, or it refers to generating the roots of virtue. 'Ignorance' means not knowing. Some practitioners often say that so-and-so is deeply ignorant. 'By the path of dependent origination' means the antidote to ignorance. Thus, from 'ignorance conditions actions' to 'birth conditions old age and death.' Similarly, if there is no ignorance, then actions will not appear; if there is no birth, then even old age and death will not appear, and so on. One should observe extensively as it is said in the sutras. Here, I will not elaborate further for fear of too many words. For a time, even an enemy can become a friend. Thus, and so on, it shows impermanence. One who possesses wisdom should never be attached. It means that practitioners should strive to dispel inverted thoughts. From the implication of eliminating the discriminating thoughts of love for relatives and friends, it should also be understood that hatred towards enemies needs to be eliminated. Thus, one can settle the mind at ease in virtue. If not, clinging to friends will make one want to do too much; clinging to non-friends will make one unwilling to do everything. Therefore, if one possesses the two minds of attachment and hatred, one will not be able to comprehend the equality of Dharma. Mantra holders should never speak. It means that when practicing recitation, all speech should be prohibited. If there is a need, one can talk briefly with the mantra attendant, and after finishing the recitation, one can speak a little. It means that when entering retreat, during the period of the vow of silence, except for recitation and reading scriptures, if there is a special matter, it is allowed to talk briefly with the mantra attendant. Flowers, incense containers, and so on.

Therefore, whatever virtuous deeds are practiced for the purpose of pleasing the gods. It should be dedicated to perfect enlightenment. This shows that in order to skillfully make the fruit inexhaustible, it should be dedicated extensively. Rivers refer to those that flow from different directions and have various tastes. Once they reach the ocean, they become one salty taste. This shows that due to reaching there, the taste becomes one. Similarly, it refers to being the same as the example given. Becoming the taste of the victorious ones refers to the fruits obtained from different paths such as discipline and diligence, which are also accomplished only as the fruit of Buddhahood. Planting rice for the sake of fruit, etc., if all virtuous deeds are dedicated to becoming a Buddha in this way, then eliminate the doubt about the necessity of not being able to accomplish mantras such as flying in the sky. The meaning of other words is easy to understand. The example of chaff refers to the word that incidentally shows that the enjoyment of gods and humans is meaningless. Obtaining longevity is the result of abandoning killing. And, it refers to the word that one should also generate joy in the discipline of abandoning the remaining nine non-virtuous deeds in the same way. Practicing according to the Dharma refers to practicing the ten virtuous deeds according to the Dharma. Obtaining places refers to the word that by virtue of it, the glory of manifestation increases, which means the appearance of inclination. Not getting tired refers to the meaning of dedicating to the cause itself not being exhausted in order to perfect the benefits of the fruits of the ten virtuous deeds immeasurably. The thoughts of beings are always

Arrogance is the root of sin. Similarly, when worldly faults such as being unknown occur, discouragement and conflict are also the root of sin. To be abandoned means in all times and places. Like not being able to coexist, it means that if a corpse is thrown into the great ocean, the powerful nagas will push it from one place to another, and finally reach the other shore, which is a metaphor. Similarly, the mind of discrimination commits sin, which means being controlled by desire and even laziness. The mantra practitioner should not stay for even a moment, which means the principle that should be clearly understood from non-attachment to diligence. One-pointed mind refers to the samadhi of shamatha and vipashyana that is not taken advantage of by discrimination. Joyful in recitation means that by virtue of the wisdom of recitation, obstacles are eliminated, so one is attached to recitation and has the bliss of samadhi, which is a summary word. The Dharma on the body will also burn in the same way, which means that after obtaining samadhi, the mind is purified, and because of obtaining joy, the body is also purified, thus transforming into the body of a deity holding the vidyadhara, obtaining glory, that is its meaning. The rest is easy to understand. Therefore, the practitioner of recitation, after doing it like a day, means spending the daytime only by accumulating merit, reciting, reading scriptures, building stupas, and other good deeds, which is a summary word. After offering the recitation, it means that for the Noble Holder of Earth and others, practicing deities of wealth, it is to show the accumulation of merit. The recitations are placed in a golden vase decorated with various jewels, sealed with a white lotus, and visualized as being offered to the hand of the deity, it is said. For other secret mantras, this should not be inferred. In order to increase the accumulation of merit from recitation, it is to show that it should be offered to one's own deity. As it is said, offering all roots of virtue to all Buddhas, Bhagavan, thereby accumulating the complete accumulation of merit, that accumulation of merit is immeasurable and inconceivable.
