It appears completely without being there. What is meant by 'what is contemplated' is the term for transforming into the form of a moon mandala. What is meant by 'for one's own mantra' is to show the necessity of contemplating the mind as the form of the moon, which is the term for the place of the letters of one's own secret mantra. The meaning of this summary is as before, having thoroughly familiarized oneself with the deity's suchness body transforming into one's own form, and similarly having previously restrained the life force and effort. Having made it appear very clearly with a little samadhi, even if the eyes are slightly closed due to the restraint of the life force and effort, the mind, together with the appearance, is sent forward, not too far away, but slightly higher than one's own height, contemplating the form of the Tathagata, and in his heart, one intensely contemplates the moon mandala adorned with the garland of secret mantras residing within, which is to be recited. Then, with the secret mantra of the moon mandala, as before, with the manner of retracting all the winds of the body, residing within one's own heart, reciting each secret mantra while looking until the end of the exhalation, and having recited one's own secret mantra. Again, in the manner of the wind arising from the entire body, with the wind and the mind, it is sent towards the heart of the Tathagata. Looking at the garland of secret mantras residing within that moon mandala, as before, with the manner of focusing on residing within one's own heart, until the end of the exhalation. The recitation of the secret mantra is done as before. With this sequence, the recitation is done until the recitation is released. Even at the time of the wind arising, all four limbs should also be focused on in one place. Now, since the four limbs of recitation have been thoroughly cultivated in this way, having gathered all the winds of the body, in the manner of retracting the sense faculties, for the purpose of showing the recitation by focusing on uttering the sound of the secret mantra. Having restrained with retraction, having restrained the life force and effort. Combining the wisdom of the secret mantra with the mantra. The recitation should be started with the mind. This very ritual. Or it is also okay to do it quietly. Because one desires accomplishment through mantra wisdom. The recitation should not be done elsewhere. Thus it was said.

O! Then, connecting the mind with secret mantras is related to the so-called recitation performed with the mind. So, how should this mind operate? If it is said to be connected with secret mantras, then, as it is said: "Bound by gathering back." It means that the mind that is not abiding, arising at will, how is it possible to flow extremely between each other through the senses such as the eyes, in the manner of gathering all the breaths of the body, drawing back again and entering one's own body, this is gathering back. Through this gathering back, binding and closing, and making it face inward, this is its synonym. Such a mind is related to the so-called connection with secret mantras. Furthermore, in order to show its particularity, it means "life and effort bound." The life and effort with the characteristic of faith mentioned earlier, by which mind are they controlled and bound? Or, life and effort are bound, through themselves binding and making them unmoving, it can also be said that life and effort are bound. This is the mind that binds life and effort, which is the meaning of "the path of breath and dull memory." The so-called "secret mantra knowledge connected with mantra" refers to the mind focused on the sound of secret mantras, connected with the object of secret mantras, which is a synonym for "manifest desire." Because one manifestly speaks and discriminates with the mind, it is the recitation of the mind. The so-called "through the ritual of this," refers to the ritual focused on the sound of secret mantras. The so-called "whispering is also okay," refers to the recitation of speaking and reciting secret mantras in a whisper. Whispering refers to the practice of reciting secret mantras without effort. Its meaning is like this: Through gathering back and extremely binding life and effort, many functions of the senses involuntarily turn inward, therefore the reciter cannot recite loudly, so reciting secret mantras in a low voice should be understood as the characteristic of whispering. Although the phrase "whispering is also okay" itself seems to indicate another aspect of whispering recitation besides mental recitation, because the word "or" is spoken, it can be clearly seen that the author of the treatise praises mental recitation. Its meaning is: mental recitation itself is focused.
