When entering the completely pure Dharma, it is for the sake of obtaining wisdom of the conventional and ultimate. "The essence is always emptiness." This refers to the nature of universal Buddhahood. If even the external objects to be grasped have no self-nature, then the wisdom that grasps them also does not exist. Thus, the nature of abandoning both the grasping and the grasped is the characteristic of being perfectly accomplished without any inversion. "Dependent on conditions, profound and difficult to see." This refers to the nature of Nirvana. "Dependent on conditions" refers to the wisdom of the characteristic of other-power, like the continuation of a lamp flame, the momentary continuation without interruption, which is the nature of arising dependently. "Profound and difficult to see" means that profound is because it has abandoned both the grasping and the grasped, it is the nature of emptiness. Therefore, because the nature of emptiness has no forms such as blue, it is said to be difficult to see. "Especially for beings it is constant." Up to "From this it is difficult to obtain a position, there is no other." is the explanation of the order of entering and becoming accustomed to the nature of Bodhi, the completely pure Dharma-nature, and obtaining its fruit. "Especially for beings it is constant, the fruit of complete contemplation bestows excellence." means that if one listens to, contemplates, and becomes accustomed to the completely pure Dharma-nature, one will obtain the excellence of happiness such as worldly kings and enjoyments. "Just as the unobstructed sky is the realm of activity, and becomes the abode of all beings, so too this completely pure Dharma-nature, all the prosperity of the three realms will arise." means that by dwelling in the place of practice with devotion and becoming accustomed, one will obtain the characteristic of the manifest increase of the power of the three realms. Although the completely pure Dharma does not discriminate, it can produce such a fruit, purity is like the sky, although it does not discriminate, it can become the abode of all beings, so too the completely pure Dharma-nature, although it does not discriminate, it can produce the prosperity of the three realms. Therefore, "Just as the unobstructed sky is the realm of activity, and becomes all beings"

Just as it transforms into a place of (emptiness), similarly, this completely pure nature of Dharma causes the arising of all the wealth of the three realms. Thus it is said. If a superior (mchog skyes) wise person practices here, they will have the same realm of activity as all the Buddhas. This means that if those who dwell on the Joyful Ground become accustomed to it, their result will be the same realm of activity as the Buddhas. The nature of Dharma spoken by the Buddhas is extremely pure and illuminates everything. There is no other state more difficult to attain than that. This means that attaining Buddhahood is the result, and there is nothing more difficult to attain than becoming a Buddha, because in all realms of the world, it illuminates everything with the wisdom of all-knowing knowledge. The nature of Dharma spoken by the Buddhas is extremely pure, which means that such a pure nature of Dharma was spoken by the Bhagavan Vairochana Buddha, which is the word of the compiler. The vast Dharma is profound and without diminution, incomparable, and benefits the world; therefore, practice it with complete purity. This means that for such a Dharma of self-nature, one should abandon conceptual thoughts and practice it. The vast Dharma is profound and without diminution, which means that the completely pure nature of Dharma is vast and unchanging, and is the nature of complete accomplishment, so there is no diminution or obstruction. This is a general explanation of the nature of Dharma. The Lord of Secrets has a vidya-mantra called "that which intoxicates the lord of the desire realm." For example, a secret mantra can make the heat of fire disappear and become cold. Sons of lineage, you should have firm faith in the power of secret mantras through these words of simile. The above explains the cause, nature, power, and result of mantras. The cause and nature have already been explained in the previous letters and so on. Here, the power of mantras is explained, that is, for those practitioners who are double-minded and hesitant, who have doubts about practice, and who doubt whether they can attain accomplishment, (these doubts) are eliminated by showing the power of the mantras that appear below. Among them, the most excellent is the great lord of the desire realm.
