The so-called "birth" means that the six consciousnesses mentioned above do not completely and truly exist, therefore, fundamentally, it is the cause of the arising of characteristics. Secret Lord, the Bodhisattva practices the Bodhisattva conduct through the door of secret mantras, and by contemplating in this way, one can attain the signless Samadhi. For example, when transforming oneself into the body of an impure deity, just as one transforms oneself into the color and form of that deity, when transforming into the nature of a signless deity, entering into signless Samadhi means transforming into the completely pure nature of the deity. The so-called "thoroughly attaining signless Samadhi" means abiding in the completely pure nature of the deity. Secret Lord, whenever one abides in signless Samadhi, at that time, the secret mantras spoken by the Tathagata will manifest and incline towards him. The so-called "inclining towards him" means that whenever one abides in the completely pure nature of the deity, at that time, the deities of skillful means spoken by the Tathagata will be accomplished. The so-called "inclining towards him" means that those deities will incline towards that mantra holder. The great Vairocana Buddha manifested enlightenment, and from the blessings of various manifestations, the gradual distinctions of signless Samadhi have been extensively explained. Secret Lord, furthermore, the secret of recitation should also be explained, etc., this is the explanation of the chapter on the Suchness of Recitation. The recitation also abides on the two kinds of deity yoga, that is, abiding on the completely pure and impure deity nature mentioned above. Among them, the recitation abiding on the impure deity nature possesses four branches, which have been explained before. The explanation here is to distinguish the difference between signless recitation and the mundane and supramundane. The so-called "Is he alone?" means abiding on the completely pure deity yoga, and reciting alone with the mind. The so-called "one after another" means that the practitioner of impure deity yoga should also recite with the mind. Or, there are two kinds of recitation.
