Then Vajrapani asked: Vajrapani, arising from the minds of the Tathagatas, and so on. Regarding this, the order of subduing the four maras through the gate of samadhi of the letter A, etc., and blessing those samadhis themselves into the four mandalas of Mahadeva, etc., is as follows: The letter A is the gate of samadhi that shows the realization that all dharmas are unborn from the very beginning. Through that gate, one realizes that the skandhas, dhatus, ayatanas, etc., are unborn, and because there is no object of focus, the skandha mara is subdued. The letter Va is the gate of samadhi that shows that all dharmas are free from the path of language. The path of language is the realization of non-discrimination, and because of non-discrimination, the deva mara is subdued. In this way, the dharmas such as the skandhas, and the discriminations that focus on them, the afflictions such as desire that cause attachment to those, are represented as purified through the letter Ra, and one realizes that all dharmas are free from dust. Dust refers to afflictions, and thus the klesha mara is subdued. The letter Ha is the gate of samadhi that shows that all dharmas are free from cause. From afflictions arise karma and birth, and if there are no afflictions, then karma and birth will not arise. If birth does not arise, then there will be no death, and realizing this, the death mara is subdued. In this way, the gate of realizing the nature of emptiness in the manner that dharmas are unborn from the very beginning, etc., is the letter Kha, which shows that all dharmas are like space. In this way, for those samadhis, in the conventional sense, each of the letters A, etc., is also combined with the mandalas of Mahadeva, etc. Through the samadhi that enters through the gate of the letter A, the skandha mara is subdued, and the skandha is solid and capable of bearing burdens. Similarly, in accordance with this, the letter A transforms into the earth mandala, and the earth is also solid and able to endure burdens. From the letter Va, it transforms into the gate of samadhi that is free from discrimination, which purifies the impurities of discrimination, etc. Similarly, from the letter Va, it transforms into the water mandala, and in accordance with this, the impurities are puri

It is the meaning of making. The letter RA (Tibetan: ར་, Sanskrit Devanagari: र, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ra, Chinese literal meaning: ra) transforms all dharmas into samadhi free from dust and defilements, which burns away afflictions such as desire. Similarly, in accordance with this, the letter RA (Tibetan: ར་, Sanskrit Devanagari: र, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ra, Chinese literal meaning: ra) transforms into a mandala of fire, and fire burns everything, causing it to disappear. Similarly, the letter HA (Tibetan: ཧ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ha, Chinese literal meaning: ha) transforms all dharmas into the gate of samadhi free from causes, which scatters karma and so on arising from the cause of afflictions. Similarly, the letter HA (Tibetan: ཧ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ha, Chinese literal meaning: ha) transforming into a mandala of wind is also in accordance with this, and wind is the nature of scattering or destroying everything. The letter KHA (Tibetan: ཁ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ख, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: kha, Chinese literal meaning: kha) transforms all dharmas into the gate of samadhi that realizes emptiness as the nature of space. Similarly, the letter KHA (Tibetan: ཁ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ख, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: kha, Chinese literal meaning: kha) transforming into a mandala of space is also in accordance with the nature of space, and these are the common meanings. The so-called "arising from the hearts of the Tathagatas" means arising from the wisdom of suchness, which refers to emptiness itself such as A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, Chinese literal meaning: a). The so-called "playing with actions and deeds" means performing activities such as supreme accomplishment and pacification. The so-called "play of conduct" is like a musician, and a musician displays various kinds of music such as dance. Similarly, these essences also show accomplishments and various activities. The so-called "collected by perfectly gathering the four elements" means that the mandalas of the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind arise from these essences. The so-called "pervading everywhere like space" means that just as space pervades everything, these essences also pervade everything, and these are the manifestations of the nature of these essences. The so-called "having many visible and invisible fruits" means showing power, and visible means actually transforming into vidyadharas and so on. Invisible means obtaining the fruits of Buddhas and so on, and it means giving such supreme fruits. The so-called "manifested by all the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas" means becoming their field of activity, and Shravakas and so on also with the exhaustion of earth and the exhaustion of water...
