Having understood in this way, he spoke with the force of joy in his heart. Incidentally, he spoke in order to generate joy in future sentient beings. At that time, the retinue endowed with everything and the Vajraholders spoke in unison, from the word "speech" to "Practicing mantra dwells in the fruit, we all become witnesses," Vajrapani requested the Bhagavan with these verses, and the retinue of Samantabhadra and others and the Vajraholders understood Vajrapani's intention as follows: When it comes to explaining the mandala, the measuring lines of the mandala and the establishment of the deities, etc., have already been explained, but the Samadhi of blessing the colors, and contemplating each color as the body of the Buddha and blessing it, and what the color is, and the method of mixing colors, and which color to use first, and the measurements of the horse landing and the threshold, etc., have not been explained, so Vajrapani thought to speak these verses in order to depict these, and after thinking this, he spoke these words. At that time, the retinue endowed with everything and the Vajraholders spoke in unison, which refers to the Bodhisattvas Samantabhadra and Manjushri, etc., who arose from practicing the Paramita path, and the Bodhisattva Vajraholders who arose from the practice of mantra, they were of one mind, and spoke with one voice and meaning. "Excellent, excellent," this is because Vajrapani thought in this way and asked the Bhagavan, so Vajrapani himself said "Excellent." The second "Excellent" is because the meaning to be asked is excellent, so it is said "Excellent." Becoming the master of secret mantra practice, the great hero and the Bodhisattva who arose from the practice of mantra. Whatever you have in mind, ask the incomparable all-knowing one. This refers to the things to be depicted, connected with "Excellent, excellent." If it is not spoken, then how do those Bodhisattvas know what Vajrapani has in mind? The Bodhisattvas such as Samantabhadra are all great in power and can know the minds of others.

Just like (him), Vajrapani knows everything (they) think. Secondly, because it is the time to ask such questions, Vajrapani speaks in verses, and it is also known that these are the objects of other discourses that should be written. Like that, because we know the thoughts of Vajrapani, we all become his witnesses, and the meaning of becoming a witness is that we know what you think, and we also think the same way. "Abiding in the fruit of mantra practice." This sentence is to show that those Bodhisattvas are powerful, but that is not a bad meaning, but refers to those who have obtained the fruit of practicing mantras. "Those who understand the meaning of the tantric lineage, other Bodhisattvas." This sentence means that not only those Bodhisattvas, but also other Bodhisattvas arising from the Paramitas also understand in the same way. Then, Vajrapani said to the Blessed One in this way. Starting from "What are the characteristics of secret mantras? What do you consider to be Samadhi?" these words, he asked about the things he wanted to ask before, that is, he asked about blessing the pigments, etc. Although he asked here, the parts that did not appear in the explanation should be viewed in the chapter on the secret mandala. After asking that way, the Blessed One, the Sage who is the master of all dharmas, said this to Vajrapani. From that to "Therefore, in all circumstances, one should always remember emptiness," is what the Blessed One said after Vajrapani asked. "The realm of sentient beings is clinging, this is the taste of the Dharma realm, the Buddhas have said so before, therefore this is called pigment." This sentence is the answer to the question "Why is it called pigment here?" "The realm of sentient beings is clinging." This sentence is the meaning of the word pigment, pigment is the nature of clinging. Similarly, here, because it appears as the colors, attire, and mandala patterns of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, sentient beings generate faith, feel satisfied and cling, therefore it is called pigment. "This is the taste of the Dharma realm." This sentence refers to these pigments having the
