The so-called "born as a son of the Buddha" means: you are born from the wisdom of the Tathagata. Do not hesitate, do not have two minds, with a mind without doubt, you (should do so). This refers to: turning the wheel of Dharma, doing the work of benefiting sentient beings, can it really be so? Do not give rise to such doubts and two minds. For the retinues, do not hide anything, in the way of imparting secret mantras to the people of the world, fully proclaim the Dharma. If you act in this way, you are repaying the kindness of the Buddha. This refers to: if you benefit sentient beings in this way, you are doing the work of all Buddhas, so you can remember what you have done and be said to be repaying the Buddha. All Vajra-holders will protect you in every way. This refers to: in the four directions of the initiation mandala, the four Vajra-holders are established, and the Bodhisattvas who reside on the lotus petals will also think that what they have done is meaningful, so they will protect you. Then, awaken that disciple, from "The mantra master is compassionate" to "With a firm heart, promise to accept everything," in between is showing the disciple the vows. This is also shown to both those who have previously accepted and those who have not accepted the vows. In this regard, if the teacher already possesses four or five vows, and combines the actions and deeds with the tantras, etc., and already understands and accepts the vows, then what is the need to show them again? The kings of the world, even if they have long known and guarded the duties of the king, but when they are authorized as kings, they will still be taught and advised by the teacher and others. Similarly, here, even if these vows have long been guarded, they should be taught in the manner of bestowing the Dharma King. Secondly, repeated teaching can make the vows more firm. Then, awaken that disciple, from "The mantra master is compassionate, taking it into the heart, showing him the vows" This refers to: awakening that disciple from the place where the mirror and wheel, etc. are displayed, then the teacher holding the disciple's umbrella, placing him inside the door frame of the first mandala, inside that door frame, showing the vows that will appear below. From today onwards, child.

You should not, for the sake of your life, abandon the sacred Dharma and Bodhicitta from now on. Abandoning the sacred Dharma occurs in three ways: having wrong views about the Mahayana; openly exerting authority over those who preach the Dharma and slandering them; and not engaging in any of the activities such as listening to the sacred Dharma, thinking, meditating, asking questions, reading, or making offerings every day. These are called abandoning the sacred Dharma. You should not abandon all of these, even for the sake of your life. Then, connect "You should not abandon Bodhicitta either." There are four types of Bodhicitta, among which are the aspiration to become a Buddha for the benefit of all sentient beings, and the practice of constantly meditating on the emptiness of all phenomena. Do not abandon these. You should not be stingy. You should not withhold Dharma and wealth that you possess from others when it is appropriate to give them away. Whatever is harmful to sentient beings, you should not do. That is, through the three doors of body, speech, and mind, you should not cause temporary or long-term harm to sentient beings. The disciple, with faith and reverence, prostrates at the feet of the guru, and with a very firm mind, promises to accept all of these. This means that the disciple promises to accept the vows taught by the guru above, without any deception, through the three doors of body, speech, and mind. In terms of body, "The disciple, with faith and reverence, prostrates at the feet of the guru." In terms of speech, "Promises to accept all of these," which means saying, "As you have said, I will do it." In terms of mind, "With a very firm mind," which means not just superficially promising the guru, but promising from the bottom of one's heart. Up to this point, the rituals of the mandala for the arising of great compassion are all complete. Commentary on the Tantra of the Perfect Enlightenment of Vairochana, by Youthful Glory.
