It is constant. Within the door frames of the inner essence mandala, the Dharmakaya mudra should be placed within the eastern door frame. Within the northern direction, Avalokiteśvara should be placed, and within the southern direction, Vajrapani should be placed. Therefore, within the successive door frames, Shakyamuni Buddha, the emanation body, should be placed within the eastern door frame, Yama should be placed within the southern direction, and Ishvara should be placed within the northern direction. These, such as Yama and Ishvara, are also on the intermediate mandala cloth, residing within the door frames, and should be recognized as the emanation body of the Bhagavan himself. Yama and others, in order to subdue the beings to be tamed, reside in the door frames, with the form of Yama, the king of the pretas, as the main figure. Ishvara is also the king of the gods, acting as the main figure and residing in the door frames. Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha is also the chief of humans and resides in the door frames. The main deities residing in the essence mandala should be known as the nature of the four wisdoms. Bhagavan Vairochana, the nature of manifest enlightenment, residing in the center, is the nature of the wisdom of equality. The Dharmakaya mudra residing in the east is the nature of mirror-like wisdom. Avalokiteśvara residing in the north is the nature of discriminating wisdom. Vajrapani residing in the south should be known as the nature of accomplishing wisdom. On the third layer of the mandala cloth, Manjushri resides in the eastern door frame as the main figure. In the southern door frame, the Bodhisattva Sarvanivaranaviskambhin resides. Similarly, it should be known that Kshitigarbha and Akashagarbha reside in the western and northern door frames as the main figures. Thus, in order, well distinguished. Having done all these, as it is said, the division of the mandala cloth, the distinction of the door frames, and the main deities in the door frames, are contemplated with great distinction. In the center is the supreme white lotus.
