When used in the sense of..., the wheel of the Tathagata's body also performs the actions of speech and mind. The wheel of speech also performs the actions of body and mind. The wheel of mind also performs the actions of body and speech. Thus, because they act in the same way, it is equality. Thirdly, the Tathagata's body, etc., and the body, speech, and mind of sentient beings are inseparable and of one taste in the nature of emptiness, hence it is equality. The so-called door of Dharma is said to be the basis of such equality of body, speech, and mind, and therefore it is said to be a door because it is the door to enter the Dharma that is realized through it. Similarly, other scriptural teachings should also be understood as doors to enter the Dharma of realization. Then, which of the four bodies teaches the Dharma? The Dharmakaya and the body residing at the Bodhi tree are immovable in nature and beyond verbal expression, so they do not teach the Dharma with words, but with their blessings, the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya teach. Here too, the Bhagavan Vairochana Buddha, in the Sambhogakaya, teaches the door of Dharma called the basis of the equality of body, speech, and mind. And how is that? The sun of the Tathagata is blessed and taught as transcending the three times. Because the Dharmakaya is the nature of appearing like the sun, it is called the sun of the Tathagata. The Dharmakaya transcends time such as the sun and moon, so it is said to transcend the three times. Transcending the three times means transcending the past, present, and future. These are the teachings of the perfect teacher. The teaching of perfect power is what is said in the text from "Then, the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra and others, and the Vajradhara such as the Lord of Secrets" to "Also seeing those who teach the Dharma with pure words in the manner of secret mantras." Among them, the Bhagavan Vairochana Buddha, by the power of blessing, entered into the vastness of the inexhaustible treasury arranged by the equality of the body, to which the Bodhisattvas such as Samantabhadra

When one has fully attained the ten bhūmis and so forth, one generates powers and magical displays through the door of one's own samādhi and liberation, and when one is satisfied with having done things such as embellishing buddhafields, one generates the thought that there is nothing else to do. At that time, the Blessed One Vairocana emits the supreme light of the jewel of glory, striking the crowns of those bodhisattvas. Through the blessing of that, bodhisattvas such as Samantabhadra enter into the inexhaustible treasury of the array of the equality of the body of the Blessed One Vairocana. Likewise, they also enter into the inexhaustible treasury of the array of the equality of speech and mind. There, equality is the three types described above. Array refers to the various forms seen in this context. Inexhaustible refers to the fact that, through the blessing of the dharmakāya, those bodies and so forth remain as long as saṃsāra exists. Treasury refers to the very body of the Blessed One Vairocana, because from that body arise countless wheels of bodies and so forth that are in accordance with how to tame, and because those wheels of bodies and so forth are not overcome by anyone, but engage in their own activities, they are arrayed. However, some may have the thought that in the body, speech, or mind of the Blessed One Vairocana, there is neither entering nor leaving. There are four types of beings to be tamed: bodhisattvas who have abandoned the obscurations of knowledge and affliction, with only a slight veil of conceptual thought remaining; those who have manifested the bhūmi of practicing pure faith; śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas who have abandoned the obscuration of affliction, but have not abandoned the obscuration of knowledge in one aspect; and various beings who have not abandoned the obscurations of affliction and knowledge. Therefore, there is no entering or leaving in the body of the Blessed One. If there is no conceptual thought, it becomes the domain of completely pure bodhisattvas. Will it become the domain of lower beings? Do not have such doubts. The answer to this is that at the very time the Blessed One attained complete enlightenment, there was no
