Therefore, the nature of emptiness, also without inherent existence, is realized as equality. These have been extensively explained. Now, here, these will be briefly summarized through questions, namely, the requests of Vajrapani and what the Bhagavan Vairochana also briefly spoke about will now be explained. If someone asks: These have already been explained twice, is it still necessary? This is because, if the previous explanation was not clear, then the subsequent repetition will become clear and stable. Therefore, in most cases, if the previously extensive explanation was not understood, then the subsequent brief explanation can be understood. What was not understood when explained with simple words previously, may be understood when explained with verses later. From the Sutra Pitaka and other scriptures, there are also cases where the meaning previously explained in detail is later summarized and explained in verses. Therefore, here too, the meaning previously explained extensively is later explained briefly. Among them, from "Then, Vajrapani asked the Bhagavan thus" to "Those supreme beings will be liberated," are the words of Vajrapani's request. "Lord, all-pervading master, you have shown the nature of the mind." This is asking that the previously explained nature of the minds will be able to obtain the opportunity for liberation. "After obtaining various opportunities for liberation," regarding the liberation mentioned later, just as it is said in the world, escaping from dangerous roads and terrifying places, from the harm of thieves and so on, is called liberation. Similarly, here, from the wilderness of samsara, from wandering sentient beings, from the fear of harm caused by the thieves of karma and afflictions, liberation is called liberation. If one is liberated from that, there is no other place to be liberated from, because liberation is only one. Then, why are so many words used, saying "opportunities for liberation"? Just as people in the world are liberated from one fear, although they are liberated from that fear, if they are not liberated from other fears, then that is not liberation. Similarly, here, if one is liberated from any negativity, adversity, or obstacle, although one is liberated, if one is not liberated from other obstacles, then that is called not being liberated. Therefore, various times of liberation

Thus it is said. The supreme born are the sons. The supreme is the realm of Dharma, which is Suchness, and those born from it are Bodhisattvas, and they have exhaled. After asking thus, the Bhagavan, the Great Vairocana, at that time said to Vajrapani, "Gather your mind and listen." From "the nature of emptiness is non-existent" to "when the wisdom of emptiness arises, the nature of all dharmas exhales with equality," these are the answers to Vajrapani's questions, spoken by the Bhagavan Vairocana. "Gather your mind and listen" is said to be the antidote to the four kinds of vessels, which has been mentioned before. When children, ordinary beings, abandon non-virtuous deeds and perform virtuous deeds, they exhale with virtue, which means that children, like animals, wander in samsara, become weary of samsara, and give rise to the thought of merit, observe fasts and perform charity, etc., which is called exhaling with virtue. What is called virtue is exhaling, and others are also virtue, so why is it only called virtue? Others are also virtue, but others have their own names, so this is called virtue. When the self-nature of the self is truly known as it is, exhaling depends on the self, which means that when practicing the eight minds of giving, etc., one meets a virtuous friend and knows what things are grasped by worldly people, relies on the self and becomes accustomed to worldly deeds, which is called exhaling depending on the self. Knowing the self-nature of the self as it is, means knowing the self-nature of emptiness as it is with wisdom, and not like worldly treatises, knowing the self-nature grasped by the self, knowing it as it is. When the aggregates are completely grasped, and the self-nature is examined, thereby completely abandoning reliance on the self, then exhaling with selflessness, means realizing the selflessness of the person and examining the aggregates.
