They are gathered by the four means of gathering and made to practice. The second ground, the Immaculate, also practices the Immaculate Perfection of Discipline. When practicing with faith, one practices oneself and also causes others to practice. The third ground, the Illuminating, is tolerant of the Dharma of Non-Arising, and also practices the Perfection of Tolerance. When practicing with faith, one practices oneself and also causes others to practice. The fourth ground, the Radiant, radiates the light of wisdom and practices the Perfection of Diligence. The fifth ground, the Difficult to Tame, is extremely difficult to overcome by demons and others, and practices the Perfection of Meditation. The sixth ground, the Manifest, manifests wisdom and practices the Perfection of Wisdom. The seventh ground, the Far-Reaching, is the Perfection of Means to ripen and liberate sentient beings. The eighth ground, the Immovable, obtains the power of aspiration and practices the Perfection of Aspiration in order to obtain the higher grounds. The ninth ground, the Good Intelligence, practices the Perfection of Strength. The tenth ground, the Cloud of Dharma, directly asks the Buddhas of the ten directions for the Dharma of Wisdom, and practices the Perfection of Wisdom that has become the object of practice. When practicing with faith, one becomes accustomed to practicing oneself, and also gathers other sentient beings by the four means of gathering and causes them to practice. The so-called four means of gathering are giving, speaking sweetly, acting beneficially, and acting in accordance with the Dharma, through which they are made to practice the perfections. The characteristics and qualities of these grounds in detail should be understood in the Sutra of the Ten Grounds and other scriptures. "The ground of faith is incomparable" means that the ground of practice with faith is not the same as the faith of ordinary worldly people. "Immeasurable" means that the total number of its qualities is beyond measure. "Inconceivable" means that it is beyond what the mind can think and imagine. "Immeasurable wisdom arises" refers to the ground of practice with faith. Immeasurable refers to the wisdom of all-knowing. "All ten minds can be attained" means practicing the ten perfections.

It is the order of the mind. What I say a little is that everything will be obtained by this. What is said is that the ten powers and the four fearlessnesses and the eighteen unshared dharmas, etc., whatever little dharma the Blessed One spoke, all of that will be obtained by faith practice. Therefore, the all-knowing ground is called faith practice. What is said is that all the dharmas of the Tathagata are obtained by faith practice, therefore the ground of faith practice is the cause of the ground of all-knowing, because it is the cause, so the cause is called the effect, and it is called faith practice. That's what was said. The wise one will truly transcend this ground in one kalpa. What is said is that the wise one will perfect the ground of faith practice in one kalpa. With a quarter of this, one will transcend the ground of faith practice. What is said is that with a quarter of that kalpa, one will transcend the dharma of faith practice, that is, the ground of realizing no-self, becoming a ladder to enter the ground of wisdom, abandoning the no-self of dharma, and beginning to practice one's own mind from the beginning without being born or appearing. The order and qualities of the ground of faith practice, these were not said before when entering the ground of faith practice to realize no-self, why are they said after explaining the extremely joyful ground? The extremely joyful ground is the fruit of the ground of faith practice, therefore, after understanding what the fruit is like, one must first examine what its cause is, therefore it is explained after the ground of faith practice. They explained the cause of Vairochana, that is, the eight minds such as giving, and the arising of the unique mind depending on their respective ego-grasps, and then the supramundane mind arose, and after realizing the ego-grasp, they only clung to the aggregates, and explained the realization of no-self of person, and also decomposed those that are only aggregates into forms such as bubbles and water droplets, and realized that all dharmas are only their respective natures, such as blue, etc., after realizing the no-self of dharma, they realized that their own mind has not been born from the beginning, that is, emptiness, and the nature of the mind of the first ground.
