From "the place blessed by the power of not belonging to the three times of past, present, and future," to "the perfectly complete Buddha established by words, manifestly renowned from one to one," the four forms of the letter A, which show the target possessing the four branches of the nature of enlightenment, are spoken by the Bhagavan. The four forms of A have been spoken before, but why are they repeated here? What was said before was a general explanation of the letter-syllables as the door to ultimate samadhi. The reason for repeating it here is so that those who practice mantras can meditate on its meaning and bless it. This is a special explanation. Therein, the place of the power of not belonging to the three times is blessed. The Tathagata enters the samadhi called the Inconceivable Ornament Pure Treasury. The reason for saying A is to declare those four forms of A. The Bhagavan enters samadhi, and they also show both the ultimate and the conventional. Among them, showing the ultimate is showing Suchness through the letter A. Showing the conventional is showing that the thirty-two major marks of a great person arise from the letter A. Because in the chapter of the Hundred Syllable Sutra, it is said that from these letters A, the thirty-two letters such as the letter ka emanate. Those thirty-two letters are also regarded as the thirty-two major marks of a great person. Therefore, from this samadhi, two kinds of meanings are shown. These letters A arise. Among them, the so-called place of the power of not belonging to the three times is the ultimate Suchness. The letter A is the target to be indicated. The so-called power of not belonging to the three times is the nature of Suchness. With the unchanging, complete characteristic, it is like the sky, possessing the unobstructed power of not belonging to the three times. The so-called place is the nature of Suchness. The seed of the letter A is blessed, meaning that until the end of samsara, the letter A remains particularly present. This is the showing of the ultimate. The body of the Tathagata is inconceivable.

The name "Perfectly Pure Abode Ornament" indicates that in conventional truth, the thirty-two major marks of a great being arise from the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, literal Chinese meaning: none). The term "inconceivable abode of the Tathagata" refers to the inconceivable body of the Tathagata. The inconceivability of the Tathagata is due to the fact that various inconceivable miracles arise from the body of the Tathagata. "Vast" refers to the thirty-two major marks of a great being. Since these marks also arise from these four letters A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, literal Chinese meaning: none), "ornament" means to keep these A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, literal Chinese meaning: none) in mind. "Perfectly pure" means that these thirty-two marks abide in all directions, and are also considered perfectly pure in conventional truth at the root. "Essence" means "place of origin." In this way, because the four forms of the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, literal Chinese meaning: none), which reveal both ultimate and conventional truth and are the place of origin, arise from samadhi, that samadhi is blessed by the power of being unattached in the three times. Therefore, it is called "the essence of the adorned form of the Tathagata's mind-place." The statement "The sound that individually expresses the entirety of the Dharmadhatu, and these four phrases arising from the power abiding in the Dharmadhatu, the perfectly complete Buddha, and extreme faith, are said to arise as one sound" means that "the sound that individually focuses on the entirety of the Dharmadhatu" refers to the four A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, literal Chinese meaning: none) from which sound arises. In relation to this, these four A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, literal Chinese meaning: none) are focused on as arising without sound. Therefore, all the words of phenomena such as vases also become words of non-arising. To show this, these four A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, literal Chinese meaning: none) are specifically explained. "Abiding in the power of the Dharmadhatu" refers to the gateway, because these A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, literal Chinese meaning: none) have become words of the Dharmadhatu, so it is called abiding in the Dharmadhatu. "Power" means that it does not change from the words of the Dharmadhatu and therefore possesses strength. "Unequaled power" refers to showing those powers as complete, etc. "Perfectly complete enlightenment arising from extreme faith" means that at the time of the cause of the Tathagata, how one has faith in the qualities of perfectly complete enlightenment is how it is completely perfected at the time of manifest enlightenment.
