It is so. The so-called hand-seal vajra wheel is to depict the Vajradhara deities, and to match their names and attire with the deities appearing from the secret mandala. The mantra protector is below, and Nairrti is on the side. From "like a wrathful deity, a youthful form" in between, is the manifestation of the unobstructed path of the Tathagata Vairochana Buddha's own equality wisdom. Below the World Honored One, the depiction difference of the inexhaustible holy immovable protector is declared. Holding a sword in hand is the characteristic of the wisdom that cuts off the two obscurations of knowledge and affliction. The rope is the characteristic of the path. It guides and places all sentient beings on this path. Closing one eye is because of the nature of the unobstructed path, the Dharmadhatu does not completely contain all forms, and it is a sign of the perfection of equality wisdom. "Being in the midst of flames" is having the wisdom to eliminate obstacles. Hardness is because of the nature of the complete path without inversion, so it is stable and unchanging. The image of a young woman is the first entry into the unobstructed path, which is a sign of the path's growth. Therefore, the sign of the unobstructed path's growth, the three realms victorious one, should be placed in the wind direction. "After drawing, the wise practitioner should diligently practice in the wind direction." From "abiding like the time of exhaustion" in between, is the complete nature of the unobstructed path of the Tathagata Vairochana Buddha's equality wisdom, the depiction difference of the three realms victorious one is declared. "Abiding like the time of exhaustion" means that at the time of exhaustion, there is no sun and moon, and it turns into darkness. The color of the wrathful deity should also be painted black, similar to darkness, that is the meaning. "Thus, the deities painted inside are said to be increasing." It means that in the heart essence mandala, the ornaments such as the indestructible body, the nature mandalas, etc., will be gathered, and the signs of the five wisdoms together with the retinue are declared. Now is the second mandala, the indestructible body ornaments on the silk will be gathered, the incarnation Shakyamuni Buddha, and the retinue appearing in the form of Indra and Yama, etc., are depicted together.

To be explained. The parts of both are, definitely in the center of the east, within the gate ring of twofold judgment. What the mantra practitioner draws is Shakyamuni. Vast is the golden radiance. Possessing the thirty-two marks. The protector is wearing Dharma robes. The main one performs the meaning of the Dharma. Seated on a white lotus seat. Seated also like teaching the Dharma. In between, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha is drawn in the east of the two-tiered mandala, within the gate ring falling in the middle of the two divisions, so-called Shakyamuni, that is, born from the Shakya clan, possessing the nature of being able to endure body, speech, and mind. Drawing in the east is because the Bhagavan Vairochana Buddha previously manifested enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. The golden color is a sign of vastness, because it is the nature of the accumulation of merit and wisdom. Having radiance is because of universally becoming a Buddha, possessing the wisdom of burning away obscurations. Possessing the thirty-two excellent marks, refers to the hair knot not appearing, etc., as mentioned in the sutra of the great man. Wearing the shroud Dharma robe is to show non-attachment to samsara, and attachment to all sentient beings due to compassion, the Dharma robe is indicated by color, which is to show attachment to sentient beings with compassion. Not appearing as red, but transforming into the color of a shroud, is a sign of non-attachment to samsara. The main one performing the meaning of the teachings, is the meaning of giving teachings and instructions to the retinue. The white lotus seat is a sign of the complete purity of the accumulation of merit, as before. Seated as if teaching the Dharma, is what is said in the scriptures. To the side on its right is, the goddess named Buddha Eye. Peaceful face, with a smile in her heart. Surrounded by a circle of light. The incomparable body is extremely pure. She is the mother of Shakyamuni. Refers to the wisdom of becoming a Buddha, transforming into the form of the Buddha Mother, drawn on the side of the north to the right of Shakyamuni Buddha. Because Shakyamuni Buddha is born from wisdom, she is called the Buddha Mother. The eye of the Buddha refers to the nature of seeing, hence it refers to wisdom. Face

Slightly pacified joy is peaceful friendliness, and the purification of the obscurations of afflictions. Merely joy is the mark of a preacher. "Surrounded by light" means that the fully enlightened one possesses the wisdom to burn away knowable things and afflictions. The unequaled one refers to the nature of wisdom that is without suchness, which cannot be measured or estimated by this standard. On its right side, draw the one known as the brow-point of awareness, the goddess who dwells upon a lotus, resembling the light of a conch and the moon, holding a wish-fulfilling jewel in her hand, fulfilling all hopes. This refers to drawing the vidya-devi known as the brow-point on the right side, to the north, of the Buddha's eye. The goddess who is the form of concentration, transformed from the Buddha's brow-point, which is like the mark of a great being, like a drop, is known as the brow-point. On the protector's left side, the mantra practitioners should properly draw the five crests, until all should be diligently and meticulously drawn, and the places should also be five. This refers to drawing the five crests on the left side, to the south, of the Bhagavan. The crest refers to what arises from the Bhagavan's crest, the fruit being moistened from the cause and named. The mudras and so on of these are not explained here because they are described in detail in the secret mandala. To the north of those, the pure places should be properly drawn. This refers to drawing the deities of the pure abodes, who are the gate that pervades the deities of the formless realm with the adornment of an imperishable body, to the south, on the left side of the five crests. If the text mentions the north, why draw it in the south? Because Shakyamuni and others reside to the north of the five crests, there is no opportunity to draw them, so it is obvious that they are drawn in the south. Secondly, the language of the text also says the north, in order to say the south. To the right, to the north, of the treasury hair, precisely the three crests, the greatly arising crest, and similarly the upwardly arising one, and the sound of infinite melody, all of these should be diligently and properly drawn. This refers to drawing the three crests to the right, to the north, of the treasury hair.
