ན་པས་མཐུན་ནོ། །བྱི་བའི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་བཅིངས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་གཅོད་པར་བྱེད་པར་སེམས་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་བྱི་བ་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ། བྱི་བ་ནི་བཅིངས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་གཅོད་ཅིང་གྲོལ་བར་བྱེད་པའོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་འདོད་ཆགས་ཞེ་སྡང་གཏི་མུག་གིས་བཅིངས་ པ་ལས་བཀྲོལ་བའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །གླུའི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། བདག་གིས་དབྱངས་སྣ་མང་པོའི་གླུའི་ཚིག་གིས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་གཟུང་ངོ་སྙམ་བ་ནི་གླུ་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ། ཇི་ལྟར་གླུ་དེས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་དགའ་ཞིང་འདུ་བ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་བདག་གིས་གང་གི་རྗེས་སུ་མཐུན་པའི་སྒྲ་སྐད་ཀྱིས་དབྱངས་མང་པོས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་གང་དུ་དད་པར་གཟུང་ངོ་སྙམ་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །གར་གྱི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། བདག་གིས་འཕྲུལ་སྣང་མང་པོས་ཕ་རོལ་པོ་རྣམས་ལ་བྱེད་དུ་གཞུག་གོ་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཞེས་པ་ནི་གར་བྱ་བའི་ཕྱིར་སེམས་ཏེ། གར་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་ཚིག་ནི་ལུས་གཡོ་བའི་དོན་ཏོ། །ལུས་གཡོ་བ་ནི་གར་གཅིག་པུར་མ་ཟད་ཀྱི་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་འགྲོ་བ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ལུས་ཀྱི་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་བྱ་སྟེ། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ལུས་ཀྱི་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་དེ་དག་གིས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ལ་སྦྱོར་བར་བྱེད་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པའོ། །རྔའི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། བདག་གིས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྔ་བརྡུང་ངོ་སྙམ་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་རྔའི་སེམས་ཏེ། ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྡ་བསྒྲགས་ཤིང་འཆད་པར་བྱ་བའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་པའི་སེམས་སོ། །ཁྱིམ་གྱི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་བདག་གིས་ལུས་བསྲུང་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་ཁྱིམ་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ་ཁྱིམ་ནི་རྫས་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཆུད་མི་ཟ་བར་སྲུང་སྐྱོང་བར་བྱེད་དེ། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་བདག་གིས་ལུས་སྲུང་བའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །སེང་གེའི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་ཐམས་ཅད་ཟིལ་གྱིས་མནན་པར་སེམས་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་སེང་གེ་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ། སེང་གེ་ནི་བདག་གི་སྒྱུ་རྩལ་གྱིས་བྱོལ་སོང་ཐམས་ཅད་ཟིལ་གྱིས་གནོན་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ། སེམས་དེ་ཡང་བདག་གིས་ཀྱང་ཤེས་ཤིང་གྲགས་པའི་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱིས་གཞན་རྣམས་ཟིལ་གྱིས་མནན་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །འུག་པའི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་མཚན་མོ་ལ་སེམས་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་འུག་པ་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ། འུག་པ་ནི་བདག་གིས་ཟས་ཚོལ་བ་ལ་སོགས་པ་བྱ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཚན་མོ་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་བདག་གི་བྱ་བ་རྣམས་མཚན་མོ་བྱེད་པའི་ཆོས་བསྟེན་པའོ། །བྱ་རོག་ གི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་བས་ཐམས་ཅད་སེམས་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་བྱ་རོག་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ། བྱ་རོག་ནི་ཀུན་གྱིས་འཇིགས་ཤིང་བརྡབས་བཞིན་དུ་རང་གི་བྱ་བ་བྱེད་དེ། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་གང་གིས་དངོས་པོ་སྤྱད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་བག་ཚ་ཞིང་བརྡབས་པས་བརྡབས་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །འབར་བའི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་དགེ་བ་རྣམས་མི་དགེ་བར་བཟློག་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་འབར་བ་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ་འབར་བ་སྔོན་དགེ་བ་ལ་སོགས་པ་སྤྱད་པའི་རྒྱུས་བདག་མཐུ་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་པས་མཐུ་དེས་གསོད་པ་ལ་སོགས་པ་མི་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་སྤྱོད་དེ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །ཚེར་མའི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་ཐམས་ཅད་འགྱོད་པ་སྒོམ་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་ཚེར་མ་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ། ཚེར་མ་ནི་འཛུགས་ཤིང་གནོད་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་གང་བྱས་པའི་དངོས་པོ་ལ་འགྱོད་པ་སྐྱེའོ། །འགྱོད་པ་དེ་ཉིད་ཡང་དང་ཡང་དུ་ཡིད་ལ་བྱེད་ཅིང་ཟུག་རྡུར་གྱུར་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པའོ། །ས་འོག་གི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་ས་འོག་གི་དོན་ལ་སེམས་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་ས་འོག་གི་ཕྱིར་སེམས་པ་སྟེ། ས་འོག་ཏུ་སོང་ནས་དེའི་བྱ་བ་བྱེད་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །རླུང་གི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་རྒྱུ་བའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་རླུང་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ། རླུང་ནི་བར་བར་མེའི་ནང་དུ་ཞུགས། བར་བར་ཆུ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ནང་དུ་ཞུགས་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་བར་བར་དགེ་བའི་ནང་དུ་ཞུགས་ཏེ་མི་དགེ་བར་བྱེད། བར་བར་མི་དགེ་བའི་ནང་དུ་ཞུགས་ཏེ་དགེ་བར་བྱེད་དེ། མདོར་ན་ཀུན་གྱི་ནང་དུ་འཇུག་ལ་ཡང་མི་གནས་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་པའོ། །མེའི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང་ཚ་བའི་མཚན་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་གདུངས་པ་ཞེས་པའོ། །མེ་ལྟ་བུའི་སེམས་ཏེ། མེ་ནི་རང་གི་ཚ་བས་གདུང་བར་བྱེད་དེ། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་རང་གི་དཀའ་ཐུབ་ཀྱིས་ལུས་དང་སེམས་གདུངས་ཤིང་སྨ་འབབ་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པའོ། །མེ་དཀའ་ཐུབ་ཀྱི་དཔེར་ཇི་ལྟར་འགྱུར་ཞེ་ན། རྒྱ་གར་སྐད་དུ། ཚ་བ་ལ་ཏ་པ་ཞེས་བྱ། དཀའ་ཐུབ་ལ་ཡང་ཏ་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། དེ་ལྟར་སྐད་དང་གཞུང་མཐུན་པས་དཔེར་བྱའོ། ། འདམ་གྱི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། བདག་ཉིད་ཀྱི་ཉེས་པ་ཕ་རོལ་ལ་གོས་པར་བྱེད་པའོ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་འདམ་གྱི་སེམས་ཏེ། འདམ་ནི་བདག་གི་ངོ་བོར་ངན་པ་དེ་གཞན་ལ་གོས་ཤིང་ཆགས་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་དེ་ཡང་རང་གི་ཉེས་པ་གཞན་ལ་གོས་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཆོས་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །རྙོག་པའི་སེམས་གང་ཞེ་ན། གང

Thinking that I will capture sentient beings with the lyrics of songs of various melodies, that is the mind like a song. Just as that song makes sentient beings happy and gather, so too, that mind attends to the Dharma of capturing sentient beings with many melodies of sound that are in accordance with whatever they believe in. What is the mind of dance? Thinking that I will make others act with many illusions, that is the mind for the sake of dance. The word dance means the movement of the body. The movement of the body is not only dance, but also all the magical powers of the body, such as walking in the sky. Therefore, the Dharma of combining sentient beings with various magical powers through those magical powers of the body is what is attended to. What is the mind of a drum? Thinking that I will beat the drum of Dharma, that is the mind of a drum. The mind that attends to the Dharma of proclaiming and explaining the Dharma. What is the mind of a house? Whatever Dharma I attend to that protects the body, that is the mind like a house. A house protects possessions and so on from being wasted. Similarly, that mind also attends to the Dharma of protecting my body. What is the mind of a lion? Whatever thinks of overwhelming everything, that is the mind like a lion. A lion overwhelms all animals with its skill, similarly, that mind also attends to the Dharma that I too will overwhelm others with knowledge and fame. What is the mind of an owl? Whatever thinks at night, that is the mind like an owl. An owl does all things at night, such as searching for food. Similarly, that mind also attends to the Dharma of doing my work at night. What is the mind of a crow? Whatever is everywhere

Turning all good deeds into bad deeds, that is the burning mind. Burning initially becomes powerful due to the cause of practicing good, etc., and then with that power it practices non-virtuous dharmas such as killing, so this mind also draws near to such dharmas. What is the thorn-like mind? Always meditating on regret, that is the thorn-like mind. Thorns prick and harm. Similarly, this mind also gives rise to regret for what has been done. Repeatedly thinking about regret itself, and drawing near to the dharma that becomes the source of pain. What is the underground mind? Thinking about underground matters, that is thinking for the sake of the underground, going to the underground and doing those things. What is the wind mind? Wandering everywhere in everything, that is the wind-like mind. The wind enters the fire, and also enters the water, etc. Similarly, this mind also enters the good and then turns into evil; enters the evil and then turns into good. In short, it enters everything, but does not stay, that is the dharma it draws near to. What is the fire mind? Tormented by the characteristic of heat. That is the fire-like mind. Fire torments itself with its own heat. Similarly, this mind also torments the body and mind with its own asceticism, and makes it weak, that is the dharma it draws near to. How does fire become an example of asceticism? In the Indian language, heat is called "Tapa" (ཏ་པ་, तपा, tapa, heat), and asceticism is also called "Tapa" (ཏ་པ་, तपा, tapa, asceticism). Therefore, since the language and scriptures are consistent, it can be used as an example. What is the mud mind? To make one's own faults adhere to others. That is the mud mind. The nature of mud is bad, it adheres and attaches to other things. Similarly, this mind also makes its own faults adhere to others, that is the dharma it draws near to. What is the turbid mind?
