Moreover, the bliss of liberation is also regarded as the cause for the abiding of the Bhagavan Vairochana. The great powerful one and Brahma, and other gods, generally speaking, there are two kinds of beings: those born from karma and those of wisdom. In this context, the gods are also like children wandering separately, showing them the path to liberation from their respective sufferings. Showing this path is also the cause obtained by the Bhagavan Vairochana through knowledge. Therefore, the powerful one and Indra, and other gods, are regarded as wisdom beings emanated from the body of the Bhagavan Vairochana. "Those lords of secrets do not understand emptiness," meaning that merely starting from emptiness, if one clings to the essence of self, it will not become emptiness. The more one clings to things, the more one clings to the edge of existence, therefore one cannot understand emptiness. Therefore, the characteristic of emptiness that is spoken of without being inverted is that emptiness is neither a thing nor a non-thing, neither existence nor non-existence, neither observing in this way nor not observing. So, how does one observe emptiness? Among them, "not a thing" means that it is not like the things that children cling to. "Not a non-thing" means abandoning that state of existence that is different from things. "Not existence" means that there is no such thing in emptiness. "Not non-existence" means that the nature of emptiness is not non-existence. "Neither of the two" means that there is nothing other than existence and non-existence. "That is neither observing nor not observing," so how does one observe emptiness? Like this, because it is neither existence nor non-existence, emptiness cannot be clung to as a thing. The meaning of these two is explained in verses: Whoever does not understand emptiness, cannot know how to escape suffering, therefore one should know emptiness, one should meditate on things and non-things. Whoever does not understand emptiness, refers to clinging to emptiness as a thing, not understanding the true nature of emptiness, then he cannot be liberated from the peaceful realm of Dharma.
