The cause of becoming accustomed to fasting itself is that on auspicious days such as the moon, stars, and sun, giving to relatives such as parents is like looking at the sprout that comes from the virtuous deeds of keeping the precepts. Then, another kind of giving is giving to strangers, which means giving to others who are not relatives due to the power of being accustomed to the previous giving. This is also the cause of the ten virtuous deeds, like a tree trunk. Then, another kind of giving is seeking the vessel of giving and giving, which means giving to the father, mother, Khenpo, Acharya, and those who know the four Brahmanical sayings completely. These are the places of giving, and they will become endless merits. Thinking that these are the vessels of giving and giving, it can also be seen as the cause of the arising of virtue, like a leaf. Then, another kind of giving is giving happily to the place of enjoyment and the lama, which means that this giving is wider than the previous one. Without discriminating against the vessel, giving happily to the lama and musicians, etc., without being attached to the object of giving. This can also be seen as the cause of the arising of virtue, like a flower. Then, another kind of giving is giving to those who desire, which means giving food to those who desire food, giving clothes to those who desire clothes, etc., giving to whatever anyone desires. This can also be seen as the cause of the arising of virtue, like a fruit. Then, again, Secret Lord, in order to be born in the heavens, keep the precepts, which means that after doing such giving, through the three actions of body, the four actions of speech, and the three actions of mind, abandon the characteristics of arising non-virtuous deeds, keep the precepts, and in order to manifest its results, that is, in order to be born in the heavens and enjoy the happiness of the gods, etc., that happiness will gradually increase. Then, again, Secret Lord, when such a mind wanders in samsara, one hears these words from a virtuous friend: "Give alms and keep the precepts in this way, and let some Khenpos who know the worldly scriptures be virtuous friends, and let them serve their own tutelary deity." That virtuous friend also showed the objects of the gods, the great god...

This is the god. It bestows all virtues. If you worship and do this, everything will become prosperous. The supreme sage among all the gods. Similarly, in the names of "Srang" and "Srang," up to "between." "Wise one, make offerings," meaning like this, to those gods mentioned above by name, showing faith and making offerings. Those gods are the ones who give happiness and make all wishes prosperous, thus it is taught. Like that, everything like sound, who would not be happy after hearing it? After that, be diligent towards that. Becoming complete means that after hearing the virtuous friend teach the gods in that way, that child developed joy, and after that, he relied on those gods, diligently made offerings, and became very faithful to those gods. The lord of secrets, those who later went their separate ways, when wandering in samsara, the greatest relief is eightfold, becoming the power of the mind, the previous victors said, meaning that like that, the various children who went their separate ways, when wandering in samsara without refuge or protection, the virtuous friend taught those refuges and protections, so those children found refuge and protection and became relieved, which is because being taught became the power of virtue. Then again, how is the order of those lords of secrets different, realizing and abiding, and abiding in those differences in order, the mind that arises to be liberated from sorrow is emptiness, thinking like that, meaning those who previously spoke of the nature of self, and, the gods who teach, knowing the nature as spoken of, grasping as self, and relying on those gods, relying on the scriptures that teach those gods, after abandoning karma and afflictions, those who grasp as self will become pure, purity is emptiness, is nirvana beyond sorrow, thus the mind arises, in emptiness, like a seed in things called self, or, like the tip of a hair, etc., one would think that there is a nature that experiences happiness and suffering, those are the children who go their separate ways, relying on self and the gods, seeking our liberation.
