The very nature of the sound and the necessities of the letters mentioned above mean "that is called the teacher." Therefore, in all ways, the wisdom spoken by the Buddhas, by always diligently manifesting it, one obtains the state of no death or change. This is to think about them afterwards. These essences are not spoken by me alone, but also by the Buddhas of the past. Therefore, in all ways, if one always diligently meditates on the emptiness that is the very nature of their sound, one obtains the state of Buddhahood. From "ka, that is to be known secretly," etc., to "all the heroes know," the chapter on arranging the letters that was spoken is what was mentioned above, "placing limbs on the limbs." What is said is to explain where to place which limbs, such as ka, on the body. These thirty-two letters are related to the thirty-two major marks of a great person. Among them, the teacher's first samadhi is used at the time of the mandala where great compassion arises; the second is used at the time of turning the wheel of letters; the third is to be known as being used at the time of the secret mandala. Then, "Bhagavan, Vajrapani, lord of secrets, requested thus," etc., is to explain that the path of the ten virtuous actions is complete with all the trainings of a Bodhisattva. Among them, in the gate of mantra, the conduct of a Bodhisattva, that is, the trainings of conduct, the uncommon characteristic of the vows has already been explained before. Here it should be known that this is the Bodhisattva of the ground of practicing the Paramitas and the Bodhisattva of the mantra practitioner, both of whom possess all the common trainings. Among them, "Bodhisattvas" refers to Bodhi, which is the characteristic of Suchness, wanting to realize it. One who has this thought is called a Bodhisattva. A great Bodhisattva is one who knows all dharmas to be like illusions, that nothing is truly existent, but nevertheless, in conventional truth, functions in conventional truth in a way determined by cause and effect, understanding it like an illusion. In order to completely accomplish sentient beings, having self and mine,

Practicing the trainings is called a great Bodhisattva. Here, too, considering the explanation of such trainings, the great Bodhisattva is specifically mentioned. The place of training refers to the conduct of the ten virtues that will appear below, and the nature of turning away from the ten non-virtues. Being completely grasped by means and wisdom means that wisdom is the nature of understanding that all dharmas are unborn from the beginning. Means are that all dharmas are unborn from the beginning, and although they are understood to be without substance, they are taught conventionally through the door of means in the manner of illusion, and so on, and the practice of pure generosity, etc., in the three spheres. Alternatively, being completely grasped by means and wisdom means that it is not the case that there is no means like the noble Hearers in order to avoid practicing the objects of the ten non-virtues, but if one sees the great meaning of wisdom, one gives oneself to sentient beings without deception in one's mind, and promises to fall into evil destinies. Even when practicing things that should not be practiced, it is called training that is completely grasped by means and wisdom. Bodhisattvas, great Bodhisattvas, those who are free from disbelief and without doubt, even if they wander in samsara, will not degenerate, please explain. Bodhisattvas, great Bodhisattvas, as before, free from disbelief and without doubt, means that there is no disbelief that the Blessed One's teachings are not so, and even if a Bodhisattva who has doubts about whether or not it is true arises, even if he has this training and wanders in samsara, he will not fall into evil destinies, etc., and will not become afflicted, please explain. The Tathagata, having seen with the eye of the Tathagata in all realms of Dharma, the eye of the Tathagata refers to the wisdom of the Buddha. The realm of Dharma refers to the realm of sentient beings, and the wisdom of the Buddha sees in all realms of sentient beings which of these sentient beings are suffering and which are happy, or sees which of these sentient beings will be transformed into such and such happiness and suffering by the cause of good and evil.
