What is meant by "blessing" is to show the form of the mandala, that is, the way of speaking and listening when both the speaker and the listener dwell equally in samadhi. Therefore, the Blessed One is the speaker, and Vajrapani is the listener, and both dwell equally in the samadhi of the unborn Dharma, emptiness. If one does not enter into samadhi, then it is not the realm of practice. Therefore, when the Acharya of the mandala first draws the mandala, he should also bless himself and say, "Please bless the assistant with the supreme gift of Vajra." Therefore, one's self or the Acharya should bless in emptiness. What is meant by "the extensive chapter on the practice of the mandala of revolving letters" is that "revolving letters" means, firstly, that the letters revolve like a wheel, that is, the letter "A" is placed in the center and surrounded by "ka" and so on. Secondly, it is called the revolving of letters because the wheel is transformed into letters in the mandala, that is, in this mandala, the form is transformed into the seed syllables of letters and placed there. What is meant by "practice" is the activities of the mandala. What is meant by "chapter" is the chapter of its scripture. What is meant by "extensive" is that in this mandala, the accumulation of merit in the mind-stream of the disciple is greatly increased. So, what kind of mandala is this? As it is said, the nature is revealed, and through the door of mantras, the conduct of the Bodhisattva, the conduct, all enter into the activities of Buddhahood, that is the meaning. Among them, the activities of Buddhahood refer to the manifestation in this life and the next, and the attainment of the fruits of all happiness. Similarly, for those who practice mantras, through the method of this mandala, they attain the fruits of the mundane and supramundane in this life and the next, therefore they enter into the activities of Buddhahood, so they should look at this mandala, it is a teaching, please listen to the meaning. After the Blessed One allowed the teaching of the practice of the mandala of revolving letters, Vajrapani was very pleased with this, and praised the Blessed One through the door of merit, and on the one hand, it was also from this mandala

This is said for the purpose of praising through the qualities arising from the ground, cause, and result. It goes up to when Vajrapani says to the Bhagavan, "He praises manifestly with this." Therein, in order to generate respect for the Bhagavan, one prostrates. The meaning of "descended in the manner of a vajra" is that it descended steadily, without distraction or association, in the manner of a vajra. "Bhagavan" is praised through five qualities: praising through the aspect of bodhicitta, praising through the conduct of cause and effect, praising through the immediate path of the Tathagata, and praising through the qualities of complete Buddhahood and the qualities of nirvana. The order of the qualities should be understood in this way, but because the verses are not smooth, they are spoken in a reversed order. Among them, "I prostrate to you, bodhicitta!" refers to a bodhisattva, which is generally understood to be from the first bhumi upwards. However, in this context, since the first bhumi and so forth, as well as the paramitas, have already been praised, it should not be understood in that way. Here, it refers to the ground of aspiration and practice of the bodhicitta of effort. Moreover, since it is the cause of the Tathagata, the name of the result of the Tathagata is taken from that cause, so it means, "I prostrate to you, the arising of bodhicitta!" "I also prostrate to you, the arising of bodhicitta!" refers to praising through the qualities of the immediate path of the Tathagata. Since it transcends the ten bhumis of a bodhisattva, it is the immediate path until the essence of bodhi is attained. Because bodhi arises there, it is called the arising of bodhi. "The form of conduct" refers to the two types of conduct: the conduct of the cause and the conduct of the result. The conduct of the result is the manifestation of being pervasive in the three realms through the wheel of body, speech, and mind. The form of the conduct of the cause refers to the bhumis and the paramitas. "I prostrate to the initial actions and so forth" refers to praising through the qualities of complete Buddhahood. Since phenomena are empty, being free from grasping and being grasped, just as they are from the beginning, I prostrate to that. "Dwelling in emptiness, I prostrate" refers to from nirvana.
