It means "please explain". You do not lack supreme words, You are the abode of all dharmas, Like the ocean for all waters. This is a verse praising the Bhagavan. "You are the abode of all dharmas," refers to the abode of the laws of conduct and the laws of decline. "Like the ocean for all waters," is an analogy, just as the abode of all waters is the ocean. The great-minded one dwells in the mind, The mandalas are explained. This is the meaning of Vajrapani's previous request. It is said that the mandalas, the abode of mantras, are the mind. Mind refers to the mind that possesses suchness. When my mind appears as the suchness of the lunar mandala, that is said to be the abode. In short, when reciting mantras, through the power of extreme habituation, one must make one's own mind clearly appear as the suchness of the lunar mandala and so on. Therefore, it is said that if one knows that the abode of mantras is the heart, one will obtain the fruit. If one knows that one's own mind is the abode of mantras, one will obtain samadhi and the signs of purifying the mind. Therefore, one will obtain accomplishments such as those thought of. That which is thought by the mind is also, White, yellow, and red, Also, the distinctions in that, The mind also does. This verse is related to "The great-minded one dwells in the mind, the mandalas are explained." It explains how the mind dwells and what the mandalas are. The mandalas of the great power and water, white, yellow, and red, etc., are what the mind thinks of. The mind itself distinguishes and completely cuts off those. Whichever of those mandalas of the mind one thinks of, through the power of habituation, if my mind becomes the suchness of the mandala, that mind should be known as the abode. When the mind is definitely pleased, Its essence is explained. This verse is related to what was said earlier, "If one knows that the abode of mantras is the heart, one will obtain the fruit." My mind will become attached to the suchness of the mandala, and from that...

If (the mind) does not change and is focused, then the mind will definitely be satisfied. Such a state of mind being satisfied is called understanding the root of mantras. The mantras residing in that place will also bestow great fruits. Thus, one's own mind transforms like the moon mandala, and the mantras also appear to reside within it. Merely by the mind, those mantras can bestow great fruits. There, visualize a lotus, with eight petals and stamens. From there to "the mantra practitioner abides in the mantra lineage," is the previously explained recitation with four internal branches. It elaborates on transforming one's own body into a deity and visualizing the Tathagata's body residing within the mirror mandala. There, visualize a lotus, with eight petals and stamens. On it resides A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A). It means that one's own mind transforms like the moon mandala, visualizing the lotus and A. From that A, visualize the body of Bhagavan Vairochana. "Surrounded by a garland of blazing beauty, constantly moving," and so on. The so-called "constantly moving" is to visualize it as if it has life. The so-called "the main deity also manifests various forms" refers to having the nature of manifesting endless adornments and other various forms. The so-called "residing in the gap of the mirror" has been said before. The so-called "showing all appearances" refers to showing it in front of all sentient beings. The so-called "like the moon in water" means that "showing all appearances" is a metaphor, just as the moon appears as an image in the water. "The mind should know it thus" means that the mantra practitioner should know that his own mind has transformed into the body of the Tathagata, just like itself. Thus, the explanation of the distinctions of the Tathagata's body also shows the method of practicing through union, and also praises the Trikaya of the Tathagata in passing. The so-called "on it resides A" is to reveal and praise the nature of the Dharmakaya. "Surrounded by a garland of blazing beauty," and so on.
