Furthermore, in order for those whose karmic lifespan is obstructed to manifest the sprout of rebirth, they will see bodies similar to Vajradhara, as well as bodies similar to Samantabhadra Bodhisattva and Padmapani Bodhisattva, and they will also see those who teach the Dharma in the manner of secret mantras from the ten directions, etc. These are what are said (in the scriptures). Here, "those whose karmic lifespan is obstructed" refers to the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas who are in the realm of Nirvana with remainder. The so-called "in order for them to manifest the sprout of rebirth" refers to the fact that in order for those who are reborn in pure Buddha-fields to obtain the Buddha-Dharma such as the Bhumis and Paramitas, (the Buddhas) manifest and teach the Dharma. This is the (scriptural) intent. In this way, they, through knowing extinction, non-arising, cessation, and generating the power of Samadhi, temporarily experience the bliss of Samadhi. Under the exhortation of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and in the pure Buddha-fields, they obtain the methods to perfect the Bhumis and Paramitas, etc. Through diligently practicing these methods, until they attain the state of perfect and complete enlightenment, they will eventually reach the city of Non-Abiding Nirvana. It will be so proclaimed. Just as this principle, this meaning is also greatly elaborated in the Guhyasamajatantra, in the secret sequence connected to the latter part. That is, the Bodhisattva who practices the path of secret mantras, and those who know the aspects of the Shravaka and Pratyekabuddha paths, and abide in the state of mind with an object of focus, whose own mind's realm has not been attained, after extensively explaining as previously stated, those who are obscured by the two obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, focus on the path of equality of self-nature, thereby suppressing afflictions, in order to completely eliminate the two extremes, for those who have no wisdom, whose cause and effect are severed, whose two extremes are eliminated, and whose consciousness is ceased, because the eye of wisdom of the Shravakas is not completely purified, the yogis arising from Samadhi.
