The Abridged Meaning of the Tantra of Vairochana's Perfect Enlightenment. Shri Buddha Guhya. The Abridged Meaning of the Tantra of Vairochana's Perfect Enlightenment. Shri Buddha Guhya. In Sanskrit: Vairocanābhisambodhitatantrapindārtha. In Tibetan: The Abridged Meaning of the Tantra of Vairochana's Perfect Enlightenment. Chapter One. Homage to the Bhagavan Vairochana, the Tathagata, who possesses the body of wisdom. He who, with his own body, speech, and mind, Pacifies the ignorance of all beings, The Sugata who pacifies the cycle of existence of the world, To bestow the body and speech that arise from him for the sake of enlightenment, To Vairochana, who should be relied upon by the Vajra Holder and the sons of the Buddhas, And to his body and speech, I also pay homage. I will briefly explain the abridged meaning of the Vairochana Tantra. Here, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the Bhagavans, having comprehended the meaning of perfect self and others, In order to lead sentient beings into that very path, the meaning of perfect self and others is explained by the Sutras that demonstrate the practice of secret mantras and the practice of the Paramitas. Therefore, this Tantra is as follows: Through the means of abridgment, elaboration, and both, the Bhagavan Vairochana desires to gather the meaning of perfect self-benefit and perfect benefit of others. Among these, through the means of abridgment: It is called "Vairochana's Perfect Enlightenment, Manifestation, and Blessing." It is considered an abridgment because it shows all the meanings of the Tantra. Through the means of elaboration: All of this Tantra of Vairochana elaborately distinguishes the characteristics of the cause, essence, and fruit of the Bhagavan Vairochana's perfect self-benefit, and similarly teaches the characteristics of the means of perfect benefit of others, such as mudras, mandalas, and mantras. It should be seen as an abridgment through the means of elaborate distinction. Among these, the perfect cause is: From this, the Bhagawa-
