It is said, "Having mind as the cause, compassion as the root, and being completely held by the perfection of means." Therefore, this explains the three causes for realizing enlightenment and omniscience. That is: the cause for the arising of conceptualization, the cause for the approximation of conceptualization, and the cause for the co-action of conceptualization. Among these, the cause for the arising of seeking the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment is great compassion, because its characteristic is the wish for all sentient beings to be free from suffering. The cause for approximation is the mind of enlightenment with the characteristic of the first ground, because it is completely purified from higher and higher grounds in the manner of incompatibility and antidote, and eventually transforms into the very nature of omniscience with the characteristic of unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. The cause for co-action is the practice of the six perfections, which is shown to be approximate. Therefore, at the time of realizing one's own mind and all phenomena, the wisdom with the characteristic of realizing the unarisen and non-arising that arises in the first instant is called enlightenment. The method for realizing it is also here, what is enlightenment? It is revealed by stating the nature, such as "completely knowing one's own mind as it is." For things, conceptualization is of two kinds: that is, apart from the appearance of mind, the external object arises dependently, conceptualizing the aggregates, elements, and sense bases as the nature of object and subject, and other than that, the external object does not exist, only the appearance of blue and so on itself is the conceptualization of grasping and apprehending. Therefore, these two conceptualizations are the cause of afflictive obscurations and cognitive obscurations, and therefore they are the incompatible aspects of attaining the four bodies of the Bhagavan Vairochana, so they should be abandoned. The path for abandoning it is also the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, and, in order to show that this is only temporary and initially becomes the antidote to the aspect of grasping and apprehending one's own mind, for example:

It is said that enlightenment is to fully understand one's own mind as it truly is. Here, the term 'enlightenment' is said to be realized from the essence of language, thus the word 'enlightenment' generally refers to enlightenment. Therefore, 'enlightenment is to fully understand one's own mind as it truly is' is a distinction. Here, 'one's own mind' refers to the nature of the mind that appears as the apprehended and the apprehender, such as the consciousness of the senses and the mind. 'To fully understand as it truly is' means that through those reasons and scriptures that reveal the absence of inherent existence, by examining the nature of the mind with the aspect of the apprehended and the apprehender, realizing that all aspects are unobtainable is the enlightenment of fully understanding as it truly is. Because the word 'truly' indicates the meaning of non-reversed. It is said thus, 'Here, secret lord, how should one fully understand one's own mind? That is, in appearance? In color? In shape? In place? In form? In feeling? In perception? In formation? In consciousness? In self? In what belongs to self? In what is apprehended? In what apprehends? In purity? In impurity? In aggregates? In elements? In sources? Even searching in all aspects, it is unobtainable.' This is the enlightenment with the characteristic of fully understanding one's own mind as it truly is. This is the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, which also distinguishes it from the enlightenment of hearers and solitary realizers. Therefore, the intention is that the enlightenment of hearers and solitary realizers, etc., merely by the appearance of aggregates, etc., is not truly the antidote to the afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge. Therefore, it is said, 'Secret lord, in that, there is not even a particle of dharma and it is unobtainable.' This shows that this enlightenment, being separate from the appearance of aggregates, etc., is in all aspects the antidote to the afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge. The meaning of this is also unsurpassed and perfectly
