May perfect enlightenment be attained. From the arising of the letter "Ah," the peaceful mandala of the Bhagavan Vairochana is completely shown to be perfect. The mandala ritual of the five families, in which the wisdom of emptiness and the perfection of wisdom are equally united, has been explained. The mandala of the Vajra family: the characteristic of the vajra is hardness, therefore the hand holds a vajra. The chief deity and consort of the Vajra family, in whom the wisdom of emptiness and the perfection of wisdom are equally united, abide equally, like the nature of the chief deity and consort. The mandala of the Ratna family: the meaning of the jewel is empowerment, and the hand also holds a jewel. The union of the wisdom of the emptiness of phenomena and the perfection of wisdom is also the nature of the chief deity and consort of the Ratna family. Just as a universal monarch, when empowered by the five jewels, rules over the four continents, so too, all the Tathagatas, through the power of bestowing all siddhis, also perform the meaning of the samaya of empowering bodhisattvas with jeweled crowns and so forth, and it is the state of equal perfection. The mandala of the Dharma family: because all dharmas are completely pure, like a lotus unstained by mud, the hand holds a lotus. The union of the wisdom of emptiness and the perfection of wisdom is also complete in the nature of the chief deity and consort of the Dharma family, abiding in equality. The mandala of the Karma family: because all phenomena are pervaded by the sphere of reality and are completely understood by their own nature. Because various activities of accomplishment are performed, the hand also holds a crossed vajra of action. The union of the wisdom of emptiness and the perfection of wisdom is also the nature of the chief deity and consort of the Karma family, and thus it abides. Thus, the mandalas of each family abide in this way, in the manner of enjoyment. Those who wish to enter this mandala should also become accustomed to the union of the emptiness of phenomena and the perfection of wisdom, and manifest accomplishment.
